This is so great, but you added the bird sounds right? If you had some good sound equipment, I'd love to hear what it actually sounds like around there. The water, the engine, the people around... it's actually all beautiful. Realistic ASMR is trending so no need to hide or perfect the reality too much.
Hi, yes unfortunately I didn't record the actual sound as it was a drone that was filming the cruise from sat on top of the roof. I do a cruise with sound. I have recently invested in new sound equipment, so cruises with true sound will happen.
Fantastic birdsong! In springtime I sometimes rise in the small hours to record some! On visiting Britain, also in spring, the great variety of songbirds was a revelation.

I just discovered your channel Dave. It's breathtakingly beautiful. My favorite moments are in my kayak. But I'm paddling against wind and wave on Georgian Bay (Ontario, Canada). Paddling in a peaceful canal would be so lovely. Best wishes and thanks for sharing your life with us.

Tranquility personified. Wondering what birds those are?
The birds singing you can hear, I recorded down next to the canal. Black bird, robin, blue tit, song thrush, wag tail, wren, crow, wood pigeon, and more. Typical British bird song you wake up to at the break of dawn in the countryside.
