- The OSCP is a 24-hour, practical, ethical hacking certification by Offensive Security. It requires holders to successfully attack and root 5 machines in the exam network.
The certification is well respected in the cyber security industry due to the grueling nature of the exam, and is often listed as a requirement for penetration testing jobs.
This was my second attempt at the OSCP exam. I passed by compromising 4 out of the 5 vulnerable hosts in the lab environment.

@@andyli Do you have video about tips on the tools that you're not allowed to use? like can I use linpeas or still cant? (I recall someone use linpeas and got failed instantly.)
Linpeas is ok to use. The they updated the script to remove the auto exploit. Here is the post from offensive security of this incident.

Writing the report during the exam is the best tip i can give, saved time and most importantly makes it easier to go back and think when stuck.

That is a good tip. I took comprehensive screenshots during the exam and had short one sentence descriptions. During report writing I just had to make it more verbose.

Pretty sure they do not allow recording of the session anymore , better check you have not violated any terms and conditions
they don't allow you to use a screen recorder anymore, I don't think this really counts as that

Hello bro, when you receive grade pass or fail after submit report ? I done submit but few day ago still waiting.
It took 24 hours for my result. Also check by logging into proving grounds, I actually got the result there a few hours before the email came through

Did adding the two extra monitors make you more productive compared to just the monitor screen during your first attempt? I think so because you don’t have to constantly switch between three apps when you can have all apps open in three different monitors.
Im personally contemplating if i should go with one or multiple screens whilst im doing the practice labs and learning. And also eventually during my first exam take.

One quick question - I've watched your videos sometime back in last year about the comparison between TryHackMe, HTB, Proving grounds etc. but I somehow found the video was not there anymore coz I wanna pick up my OSCP journey again. Would you put it online again for a day so I could look at it again? Currently I'm struggling which one to go first.... should it still be tryhackme? I'm a beginner
