estoy de acuerdo vi poco y nada de salsa soy de argentina y soy salsero nivel medio tirando a madera pero vi muchos videos y me gusta lo lineal del estilo los angeles no tanto los giros super rapidos como el del tipo del minuto 2:26 que si tendria orejas mas grandes saldria volando como un helicoptero bueno perdon por el humor un poco sarcastico, solo es cuestion de gusto la chica por otro lado merece un aplauso..
@toscanis1007 - I'm primarily an On 1 dancer and I know what are the kinds of salsa that exist around the world.. and I know what fun is, thank you very much, I know fun when I see it or dance it.. Most of Magna Gopal's social dancing videos are fun.. the above video is the opposite of, don't try to convince me otherwise

I come from a place where dancers enjoy social dancing and not dance to prove a point. We do compete in competitions and have fun while social dancing

This chick may have a birthday. I think it's some kind of a tradition when a girl has a birthday to dance with all boys (they pick her up) and when a male has a birthday it's the same but with girls shanding around and he picks them up. Correct me if I'm wrong.
The guy was off beat. Regardless, when dancing on2, one is more in sync with the music (since salsa is based on the clave) and therefore can play with the instruments and cues, and not only your partner. Dancing on1 or on2 shouldn't matter as long as you are on beat and feel the music. I personally feel more relaxed dancing on2.
A bonus lesson: ...and if you are not sure you are hitting it right, just watch your partner's face (which only the first guy did). Notice that she stopped smiling (hint! hint! WTF over!)... If this happens to you then check your stroke, cuz you ain't hittin it right...the beat fellas! although applicable to other areas lacking timing & rhythm ;-) Just keeping it real when real goes wrong

They are not giving her enough time to complete her styling and they only want to prove their point that they are good dancers. Notice closely, the lady is try hard to smile and I'm not sure if she is actually enjoying it.

dude, the audio is not in sync w/ the video in alot of youtube videos, so i really would'nt judge anything regarding timing w/ youtube vids.

They are trully on2 ! There is only one guy who dances on1! They are off timing ( so they get on1) sometimes but that's social dance so who cares !
