+Aldred Cricket Bats yeah thank you for that I.will never going to see weights of bat the most important feel and pickup and i will continue with same bat 😊
Priyank Jain no one person really. I was fortunate to play professional cricket when the majority of bats were hand made here in the uk and then the tail end of my career the Asian bats started coming in. I remember the quality of duncan fearnley when he was making and john newbery who ironically I make for now for their top end bats but if anything the Asian bats and the mass marketing of the big brands that were coming over in bulk and sold to the public at huge prices and quite honestly bats that as a professional you wouldn't have touched with a barge pole really annoyed me, I didn't like to see our industry stripped of the work and the game of the quality and good ethics it used to have. So with that in mind there was nothing else to do but put my money where my mouth was and teach myself to make bats to the quality that I felt we should have by hand no CNC machines just old fashioned craftsmanship. I won't ever be a big brand but I will always be quality and sought after if I keep the quality high.
