We shouldn't keep Xavi at this club...I knew it will came down to the point where Barca board will realize that Xavi doesn't help this team more than it did...we act so childishly when we saw 1-3 good games by Barca...like we did in the past...we play 3 good games and give to that coach everything...this is WRONG...VERY WRONG. Think it is partly down to the economics as well. Torres and Roberto won't fetch anything and are not on as high wages I'd assume. They are more squad players. The others command much higher transfer fees/on higher wages.

If it was up to me, I would keep Frenkie, sell Raphinha if we get a good offer (still not convinced he fits our team even though his performance levels have risen recently). And replace him with Isak or Nico Williams if possible. Ferran I would sell if a good offer comes in. Otherwise he can cover all three positions in the front line, is young and has a few goals in him so I wouldn't mind keeping him as backup. Roberto I would keep for one more season if he can be renewed on low salary again due to his versatility and would be good to have his experience in the dressing room. I never really rated Roque but I do feel sorry for him for how it's turned out. Looks like it's a case of Laporta/Deco signing someone who Xavi didn't want and Xavi doesn't fancy him from what he sees in training. Would've been good to give him a season on the books to see if he can develop but if his departure means we can get Nico Williams then I wouldn't be too annoyed.

Think it is partly down to the economics as well. Torres and Roberto won't fetch anything and are not on as high wages I'd assume. They are more squad players. The others command much higher transfer fees/on higher wages.

@@wilsonhumphery62 No, I was merely trying to explain the possible reasons of selling the likes of De Jong/Raphinha/Roque as opposed to Ferran and Roberto. If it was up to me, I would keep Frenkie, sell Raphinha if we get a good offer (still not convinced he fits our team even though his performance levels have risen recently). And replace him with Isak or Nico Williams if possible. Ferran I would sell if a good offer comes in. Otherwise he can cover all three positions in the front line, is young and has a few goals in him so I wouldn't mind keeping him as backup. Roberto I would keep for one more season if he can be renewed on low salary again due to his versatility and would be good to have his experience in the dressing room. I never really rated Roque but I do feel sorry for him for how it's turned out. Looks like it's a case of Laporta/Deco signing someone who Xavi didn't want and Xavi doesn't fancy him from what he sees in training. Would've been good to give him a season on the books to see if he can develop but if his departure means we can get Nico Williams then I wouldn't be too annoyed.
