She is basically setting up turock 3 by saying that a dark entity that interfere with your quest has being there before and that's your ancestors had deal with them and most likely they will show up again if not for this turock then for his decendants because there is always light and darkness
I swear when I beat this game like 20 years ago, adon says, "well done, turok. The physical destruction of the primagen has stabilized the structure of the netherscape." And now she goes on babbling about oblivion. I know it has to be different because ever since I beat it, I've always just recited that quote when I want someone to stop asking me questions and it usually works.
It's because the game actually has two endings. If the Primagen is not killed by the Energy Totems: "Thank you for your valor, Turok. For now the Primagen is no more. His body has been crushed, but the power of his mind is great. The physical destruction of the Primagen has stabilized the structure of the Netherscape. I fear, however, that the Primagen is not truly gone. For now, we can only wait." -Bad Ending If the Primagen is killed by the Energy Totems: "The Primagen has been destroyed, Turok! The combined energy from the totems has shattered his body and destroyed the last traces of his telepathic powers. The omniverse is in your debt." -Good Ending The following dialogue where she goes on about the looming threat of Oblivion is the same regardless of ending: "I have been unable to identify the force which conspired against you during your battle with the Primagen. Its form eluded me. While I searched, a feeling of dread washed over me, a feeling unlike any that I have ever experienced. There is a natural balance in the cosmos between that which we define as good and that we which know as evil, light and dark, order and chaos. Although I have been unable to gain any specific knowledge of this being, its energy signature feels as if it exists beyond either fundamental force. And one other thing, Joshua: each time I scanned this entity's signature I also detected the energies of the Turok lineage as well. Whatever it is, your ancestors have dealt with it before."
What the hell does the Primagen say? Like at any given moment?. Me and my dad used to play this together, and we always thought it sounded like he said "OWW, YOU TURTLE!!" When he gets hurt.
Personally, I like this fight, and I like it to be long, especially when Primagen starts flying to throw fireballs and I respond with the minigun, it's fun. My problem with the final fight of Turok 1 is that it is very short, if it is challenging but a little short and I feel that it has even less life than the previous boss to that fight.
Primagen was pretty easy especially if you have got the nuke and kept its ammo topped for dealing with the drones. His most dangerous attack is that energy blast since it can slow you down/lock you in place and deplete your health in seconds. I found the explosive shotgun/shredder/grenade launcher best weapons overall for each stage of the fight although you need to be lucky with the ammo respawns to keep them topped up. The firestorm cannon seems to be a bit glitchy/weak in the remaster particularly in this fight since its a lot of shots seem to not register. Also the scorpion rocket launcher is terrible as well which is a shame. Mag 60/Tek bow is not bad for stopping primagen regenerating in a pinch.
In all fairness, the Turok games use the standard boss fight design template that still exists today. Giant oversized boss with lots of health, possibly regenerating (such as Primagen), and to win you have to target specific parts which change as you damage them. It is hard to name AAA bosses that are not like this.
Christian Credentials something about a lineage. I just finished this earlier and Ada was explaining that his ancestors have been involved with the same forces of evil
this boss battle is pretty bad, really preferred t1's final and weapon. what do you mean by unstable? it took me 30 mins to beat this, couldn't tell if it was glitching or what. somehow you seemed to have beat him in 3ish waves. weird, it took me probably 10 waves, all his limbs, and 5 lives
My brother's and my sister used to play this all the time..btw did u know that u could actually fight the primagen and do some campaign levels with 4 players..it's it's glitch but I don't know if anyone else figured it out cause there wasn't internet back then
Game was fun until the Primagen battle. It was insanely boring and I always just played up until I got all the keys and never did the battle at the end lol
@@costco_pizza I actually legitimately liked the atmosphere of the 3rd game, and I would like to see it remastered, but that most likely won't happen due to legal reasons.
This remaster sucks. They ruined lots of sound effects, dumb-downed levels, and they made the game way too bright. You can't even mod in the fixes. N64 version is still the superior version sadly. :(
Good thing you located the energy totems, and protected them at all costs
And rescued the 4 children
And that the Primagen stood exactly at the right moment in the middle of his command center.
I couldn't understand a word ada said at the end
I understood like 60% percent...and then she got drowned out by the music. :D
Developers was still learning. Early age of gaming lol

Turoks long long way until there; he is ready for the epic battle, he trained very hard! Lets go!
10 minutes later: Finished 😁
At the end Adon says "whatever it is your ancestors have dealt with it before"
The hive mother was a awesome boss fight.
Am i the only one sad about never getting a sequel to Turok:Evolution? With that Lord Tyrannus cliffhanger.
Yeah
Great game and battle
So Turok we meet at last! I think you’ll find I’m well prepared!

Pretty sure he says AHHHH YOU TUUUUUUUUUURD
“Aaaagh, you Turok!”
MY URIGINAL FURSONA SLECIES DONUT STEEL
I know that primagen appearance in Act 5th New kid's story Arc
Since when does the nuke cannon work on the Primogen? Did they fix it for the remaster?
You saved the Omniverse ... now time to save the Nilumverse.

To be fair the cyborg T-Rex in Turok was the coolest boss of the entire series. Campaigner was still kind of a let down.

Most current triple A devs: Boss battles? How do they work?

I think the main problem is rarely you will see a good boss on fps.
@@felipetartas5434 Agreed. Unreal and DOOM Eternal's hardest normal enemy encounters are way more challenging and tactical than their boss fights.
Not sure if this is a glitch but for me it doesn't respawn my ammo after I die. Despite starting the boss fight all over again after death.
I just finished the game yesterday on PS4 and this had a different ending to what i had, strange that.
You didn´t protect all energy totems hence you got the bad ending.
Isn't the nuke actually ineffective against Primagen itself? Or did they change it in the remaster?
Grenade launcher and explosive shells all day.
Nuke is the most useless weapon in the game
Shredder i can feel the kick as a viewer lol
damn I used to think ada was hot... lmaoo also, WHAT THE HELL DID SHE SAY AT THE END OF THIS VIDEO??? LOL
Christian Credentials something about a lineage. I just finished this earlier and Ada was explaining that his ancestors have been involved with the same forces of evil
Adon is her name I think. I mean she is hot body wise. but when rendered in modern graphics definitely will improve.

It was crashy and glitchy in 2017. Probably mostly fixed by now
Well it's long, not for nothing is the FINAL Boss, personally I love this fight and as you can see in the video, there are ways to beat it fast.
Buena batalla, es difícil ese bicho

Def did that as a kid. Teleporters were broken but some levels were partially payable! Most every boss too
para q consolas esta esa version de turok??
PC
Wow, the Campaigner is 100x harder...
unstable ? could you explain please ?
It's fine now, it was crashy in 2017
Im shure his brain is missing in the N64 Version so u can see trough his head
Lol really, there are people who complain that the fight is too long? Well, not for nothing is the final boss.
I've liked the Primaten 😢
Game was fun until the Primagen battle. It was insanely boring and I always just played up until I got all the keys and never did the battle at the end lol
Nullveer try ascenion mod, this battle will be a nightmare the first 10 trys, atleast for me
Disagreement, I find it entertaining
Only a maldad will kill him with razor wind
It’s my favorite weapon to trick shot with
The original is better. You could see through the hole in his head
And then turok 3 ruined the series
A definate disrespect towards the series what the hell happened?????.
I like turok 3
josh L Agreed. They need to stick with the same concept of the Hub and have levels that can be revisited.
@@costco_pizza I actually legitimately liked the atmosphere of the 3rd game, and I would like to see it remastered, but that most likely won't happen due to legal reasons.
Its annoying you have to fo this boss in one go as the attacks like the bouncing bombs & flying things are hard to avoid
the trilogy of terrible bosses, honestly i think the mother abomination was harder than the campaigner, primagen and oblivion combined
i beat this guy on hardcore
Rip off I’m gonna blacklist youuuu
ending sucked

What levels were dumbed down? I believe they are entirely unchanged. You can always tone down brightness and turn off the new graphical effects.
the game was way too fucking dark and I cant see any difference in levels
