I think its more important that none of the American players played the Italian open while the European players did. If the US want to do better they should be taking the opportunity to play the European courses in a tournament setting.
I have no issue with this. The course remains the same state for everyone and the opposition can still do their homework (maybe even predict the changes). The best players will adapt accordingly. Cream always rises.
But the skewed stats don't support your arguement the cream always rises. The whole point of tailoring a course to the requirements of data is the polar opposite of what you suggest...
In every Teamsport you focus on your strengthes and the opponents weaknesses in every way the rule book gives you that freedom. Why should it be different in Golf? It is not like the Americans have to play a different course.
The reason many people venture into Trading/lnvesting (Financial Market), is so that they can get to have a better life, while working and even after retirement. The wisest thing that should be on every wise individual's list is to invest in different stream of income; I am earning more this year because I have been investing while working at the same time. I Invested through LAURA A KEADY , same woman that an anchor kept mentioning on CNBC, she is licensed and made multiple of my start up capital within three months.
I invested across the top markets but not by myself though. I also follow the guidelines of Laura A Keady. I can correctly say she is worth her salt as an investment advisor as her diversification skills is top-notch, I say this because of the results, as my portfolio grows by averages of 20 to 30% every month, unlike I can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what he places and not just on some particular industries of my choosing.she gave me that financial freedom I needed.
I don’t think minor course setup can really make or break the cup. Course architecture could but they’re not rebuilding an entire course. End of the day these guys are crazy good playing anywhere and any elite golfer will tell you it comes down to sinking putts
Analytically, approach shots are the most valuable. I mean Scottie Scheffler earned $5M more than the second-place guy on the money list, and he is genuinely one of the worst putters on tour.
This makes it not fun for me. I'd rather both team go into it blind. Site unseen until day before. I want the players to dictate who wins. Not the nerds
This is fascinating. I had no idea this was allowed.
It really is wild
Fair game in my books. Coaches can pick players with outlier stats to combat these strategies. Players like Bryson...
100%
It’ll eventually change if the ratings on day two and three sag enough. It’s kinda ruining the event
Zach johnson selected Justin Thomas so I don’t think the US is “money balling” the ryder cup
Would love to see a random player draw done before each match for the pairings, throw all the names in a hat,
Really fun idea
What’s the point in having a captain then?
@@Bucbucbangpicking players to be in the pool and picking course / layout

Wouldnt that give the europeans even more of an advantage? More data on the us players..
@montycardman2535 good play beats data every time

So does scum.

USA: "2025 Bethpage Black"
EU: "Ouch! Rory is the only one qualified."
Higher roughs and narrow the fairways
I like it. Part of the extreme pride that it would take for the 'away' team to win a cup.
Similar to a cricket pitch!
I am absolutely certain that both sides play this game as hard as they can in all regards ....

It is not like the Americans have to play a different course.
This is why it’s a big deal to win on foreign soil.
100%
The Indian’s have been doing this to their cricket pitches for ages!
These are professionals. It shouldn’t really matter. They should be able to score on any course. Doesn’t bother me.
What was my thought too. 125 yards or 150 yards or 70 yards it’s the same. Scottie is gonna put it within 10ft 😊
The way US teams have played internationally in any sport lately doesn’t make me feel great 🤣
Does the USA mess with their courses too?
Players should not have influence on how the course is set up.
Changing a course during the event would be cheating in my book.
but they're not during the event...

Should do the Ryder in a non US Europe venue? Australia? Australia would barrack for EU though. Pesky yanks!! 😂 maybe one day it’ll be on the moon?!
Why use moneyball strategies when Tigod is pulling all the strings?

Tigod: "pick my pals or else I'll crash into your family high on pills"
ZJ: "yes master"
If only they’d done this for WWII they wouldn’t have needed us.
😂😂😂😂😂 Love this comment
Imagine running millions of analytics tests to win again a team
Imagine not realizing every single sports team in the world is already doing this lol
Because they cant beat the Americans straight out.
Heck, they beat us half the time in the US too
The yanks have been getting scudded for the past 20 years. Only 3 wins in 10
You do realise the Americans do the exact same when they host the Ryder cup 😅
@@stephennixon15393not really tho, they only started doing course manipulation very recently.
what?!? people being people?!? say it is NOT so!!! :(
Quick delete this video before the Yanks see it 😅
Hahaha!
We're here!
Too bad the heart of the winning euros ain’t there anymore
How to spoil sport. Sad...
Ryder is meaningless
OWGR is meaningless
Not watching if everyone in USA and Euro is not considered for selection
First comment here, just saying :)
