When using a drill brush it’s a good idea to occasionally change the direction on your drill so the bristles don’t get bent in one direction.

Right on. If you want to save a little you can grab a round brush from the dollar store and put a machine screw through center of it to attach to the drill.

Bleach is acidic. It will erode the grout. Also you can bleach out the color pigment in the grout and you'll be left with blotchy uneven colored grout.

Thanks! This inspired me to tackle this: twenty years worth of dirt on a kitchen floor consisting of unforgiving white tiles. First attempt I could clearly see a difference but the second time 24 hours later was the charm with the use of a grout brush (strong tooth brush should do the job too), both in applying and scrubbing the oxyclean. The first results in less liquid, and therefore salt deposits, on the floor and makes cleaning afterwards easier. The second allows for a better reach in the grout line than a larger, broader brush would: it seems to me most grout lines are a bit receded compared to the tile surface.
Obviously, the second attempt will have been aided by the first, I will never know.

Use a degreaser. Degreasers work well for tile and grout. You can pickup a spray bottle and a jug of degreaser from any super center. Lowes, Menards, Home Depot, Rural King, Etc. Just mix the appropriate amount of water with degreaser into the spray bottle, spray on the designated area, let it sit for a few minutes, then whipe it clean with a wet spong, whipe it with damp towels, and then mop it. Just make sure you read the safety label and instructions because some degreasers require a face mask, gloves, etc while cleaning.

Hi this product may take shine of tiles, all tiles manufacturers recommend ph neutral cleaner. Also acid may make grout less water proof. Definitely not for use on Stone and don’t even think about using on Marble . Best thing to do is use grout sealer after grouting. If you use this method use lots of water to remove active agent. Let it complete dry , then reseal grout . Acid products damage grout.

Hardly the easiest way to clean grout.
Not only does it take more time and effort than what I do, but when I clean tile floors, I clean the whole floor and not just the grout lines. Try using an extractor. You spray your solution over the whole area, wait a few minutes, and then you use the cleaning tool. It sprays high pressure water and then vacuums up the dirty water mix.
Not only is it simpler, but it takes less time, and when done, I can wipe a clean white towel anywhere on that floor, and it comes up still white. There's no better test for how clean your floor really is than that.

Looks great but I have 2000 SF of grout so need an easier method that will not take 1 week to clean. I going to rent a machine an be done in a half day.

The darker lines definitely don't look bad. I'd have gone with a darker variant when laying the tiles initially. Knowing that the contrast is due to gunk and grime wouldn't sit well with me.

How to avoid grouts... Never use tiles for flooring. Use a solid floor [tile-less] or a solid wooden floor.

This would be great if my kitchen wasn't a very large addition. The floor space in the kitchen alone is about half the floor space of the entire house. 🤦 If I used this method it would take days and rsck my body with soreness. There's gotta be a better way.

Grout is obsolete, in China nobody uses grout. All the tile is rectified, no space between tiles, much better. No grout to clean.

Load of bull 10 years old grout you can see next to the dirty grout the rest is clean like new he put a bit of dirt on it before he started so it removed easy ...This does not work ...Only one way to make years old grout like new have the floor regrouted by a tiler ..
