When it was winter, I was not yet fond of bushcraft and hiking in the woods, it's already summer, and I started to run my own UA-cam channel on bushcraft, and I understand how I want winter to be again! :)

There are a lot of UA-cam videos about cold weather camping. Yours are by far the best and I'm happy I found your channel. I wish I could do this.. hard to do with wife and kids.. lol. One question, why did you bring your gun this time? Just curious.. thanks for these videos and keep doing them for us that can't get out and experience this.
It is in the mid to upper 90's with very high humidity where I am - FL! The snow and cool images were very refreshing to watch. I wonder if you 'carry' because of two legged or four legged predators?
That is pretty warm! We are finally experiencing those temperatures here but minus the humidity. I'm glad you liked it, thank you! I carry for both kinds of predators lol. I recently had my car vandalized while on a trip. My car was only 1/4 mile from camp so they could have easily found me if they wanted to. Hopefully I never have to use it but I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Thank you for supporting the channel! I'm glad you like the videos. I was shocked to find a snow storm in June to be honest. I had to hike up to around 7,400 ft to find it. I always carry a Zoleo satellite communicator to be safe. It is a must-have item in my opinion. I thought about listing my gun and holster information but UA-cam is picky about promoting firearms. I am happy to list it in the comments though. I carried a Ruger LC9s 9mm and my holster is made by Aliengear.

I assumed that all of that delicious cooking you do, would create some irresistible smells that probably travel far to whatever beasts might be around. Either way, I really enjoy these and--as many people say in here--what you share is really inspiring. Be safe friend...
I do not know exactly how many kg for one night. It depends on what type of wood you are burning and how warm you want the tent to be. If you burn hard woods then you do not need as much as you would with soft woods. You could save wood by letting your fire burn out while you sleep. That is what I do most of the time.
