The song is beautiful, I love the soulful twist it has. It is one artists reinterpretation of an amazing singer, lost far too young. I can't believe how some people are commenting. She's not trying to replace Cline, she's paying homage to her.
This lady is pure talent i knew she was a star the moment she walked out for her audition on american idol.Ive followed her for years and her music i just love it.I love all the covers she does and her vocals live are amazing .Best singer ever no one is in her league.
Oh my gosh....!!! Kelly you NEED to sing more like this (even thoe this isn't your song) I used to LOVE this song when I was little !! you are amazing !!! YOU ARE.... Just.. I don't know I'm makeing up my own word... as the best complement ever is Kelly... you are Kelly ! I
She is awesome kelly can sing the alphabet and kill it and she makes every cover her own and it's always good I just love you Kelly as a person and artist and singer as well
Love the arrangement and Clarkson is fantastic but what Patsy Cline had was magic. This is beautifully done but it simply don't match the true genius of the original.
Wow! That's a hot re-working. Great arrangement and Kelly's vocals completely transform the song. You canna compare it in any way with Patsy Cline's version because it is so completely different.
Bill Howard This is a jazz/blues version, and is nothing like Patsy Cline's version which is pretty much Country. I don't think she could even sing in this way, and I don't suppose it would have ever crossed her mind. I'm not trying to denigrate Patsy who was such a fine and well-loved singer. But this is a completely out-of -this world version as far as I'm concerned. But then I've always been a sucker for Jazz and Blues, and was never very keen on Country generally although Jerry Lee has me hooked for sheer emotional impact like none of the others have managed.
GREAT time of DAY!! Soulful, and sultry. . . AWESOME Kelly, you are one singing white girl!! Ms. Patsy would be "honored, I'm sure . . . and PROUD." Stick in with that good ole "country" sound too!!!!!
I absolutely love what she does to this song!!!!! She even does it just as well in a live performance that's how good Kelly is!!!! And those thighs :P Her voice is perfect!!!! She hits all the pitches effortlessly!!! Love Kelly!!!!!!
I love the artistic license. To me, each person brings something new to music and different interpretations are great. I love to hear different voices on songs. That being said, this shouldn't be passed off as country. Blues? Jazz blues? Sure. But this isn't country. Her interpretation, while brilliant, is about as country as polka.
I go out walking after midnight Out in the moonlight just like we used to do I'm always walking after midnight, searching for you I walk for miles along the highway Well, that's just my way of saying, I love you I'm always walking after midnight, searching for you [Chorus] I stopped to see a weeping willow Crying on his pillow Maybe he's crying for me And as the skies turn gloomy Night winds whisper to me I'm lonesome as I can be [Verse 2] I go out walking after midnight Out in the starlight Just hoping you may be somewhere walking After midnight searching for me [Chorus] I stopped to see a weeping willow Crying on his pillow Maybe he's crying for me And as the skies turn gloomy Night winds whisper to me I'm lonesome as I can be [Outro] I'm out walking after midnight, out in the starlight Just hoping maybe you're somewhere Walking after midnight, searching for me
I can't definitively identify the insect in the image based on the information provided. It's difficult to distinguish different insect species from a close-up photo, especially without a clear view of the entire body. However, I can tell you it's not a louse. Here's why: * Lice are smaller: Lice are typically the size of a sesame seed, whereas the insect in the image appears larger. * Lice have different mouthparts: Lice have piercing-sucking mouthparts for feeding on blood, while the insect in the image seems to have chewing mouthparts. Here are some possibilities for what the insect might be: * Beetle: Some species of beetles can be attracted to the scalp, especially if there's an open wound or dandruff. * Mite: Mites are very small and can be difficult to see without magnification. However, some skin conditions like scabies can cause mites to infest the scalp. * Fly larvae: Fly larvae, also known as maggots, can infest the scalp if there's an open wound or unsanitary conditions. If you're concerned about the insect on your scalp, the best course of action is to see a doctor or dermatologist. They can examine the insect and recommend the appropriate treatment.
I'm sorry I'm a huge fan of patsy and I have only heard one singer that can match her and the singer is a karaoke artist in my local area she wows the crowed every time I need to get her recorded and posted to UA-cam to show pure raw talent one man told me she knocked his socks off cause she was so close yet better then the original singer
I never thought anyone could out do patsy Cline but Kelly did, the voice, the style and the feeling and then the cornet, Sorry patsy but its all Kelly Clarkson .
Wow. You must be young or something. No one can compare to Patsy. Kelly is good but she is no Patsy. sorry I don't agree. Don't get mad, just my opinion.
Clarkson did a good job, but changed the feel of the song imo. I prefer patsy clines version. The blues and I guess soul type sounds change the feel of the song entirely for me. It’s like there’s too much “attitude” for a song that to me always felt desperate and lonely, but Kelly sang her ass off that’s for sure.
@marieilovesheenie oh well if it's a *karaoke* singer then clearly it's better than a rendition from Grammy award winning artist who is regarded as one of the best voices in the world. But no really I'm sure the karaoke singer that knocks some random guy's socks off is totes better. Are you kidding with that post?
Sounds too new phase pop r&b with all of the voice fluctuations so common and overused by current singers. Not saying it's bad, it's preference, just defiantly can't compare it to the original, personally
It’s amazing to hear her come into her mature voice. So strong. So smooth. Raspy. Perfect!!! Soul thru and thru!
I absolutely love Kelly Clarkson. That's such a distinct voice
like the mix of blues and jazz, always love kelly's voice
2006
Wow! I mean wow! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Just brilliant. Best cover of this song I've heard, hands down.
This is the best cover arrangement ever !
Sultry and soulful! LOVE her version!!!!!!
HOLY...praise the lord for Kelly Clarkson. I really like her.
The song is beautiful, I love the soulful twist it has. It is one artists reinterpretation of an amazing singer, lost far too young. I can't believe how some people are commenting. She's not trying to replace Cline, she's paying homage to her.
❤
I love her take on it! Like the Blues in Memphis!
This lady is pure talent i knew she was a star the moment she walked out for her audition on american idol.Ive followed her for years and her music i just love it.I love all the covers she does and her vocals live are amazing .Best singer ever no one is in her league.
So underrated 🔥🔥💥vocal magic, the music is always perfection too 🌟🎶🎶🎶
I absolutely love this rendition. Her voice plus that killer trumpet is just awesome.
That trumpet just blew my pants off
She's a superb vocalist who surely has plenty soul. Go on girl.
Postmodern Jukebox missed out on this one. Great jazz arrangement and sung so well with that jazz vibe by Kelly.
Great "plunger" work on the trumpet
Oh my gosh....!!! Kelly you NEED to sing more like this (even thoe this isn't your song) I used to LOVE this song when I was little !! you are amazing !!! YOU ARE.... Just.. I don't know I'm makeing up my own word... as the best complement ever is Kelly... you are Kelly !
I

i have a new love her now :O i didn;t know she did soul/jazz style kelly clarkson you talented beauty
Kelly Clarkson just blew, Patsy Cline, and everybody else away. She is the GOAT... I hope that she gets recognized for her talent in her lifetime...

No. Its an insult
I was thinking to myself, non one could or should tackle Patsy Cline BUT this works so well for Kelly. She did wonderfully!
And the muted trumpet solo is KILLER!
Kelly reminds me of Bonnie Raitt, in this song. Nice interpretation of a classic.
Yes she does
Love Kelly, esp.her slow songs.country...her show is the best
GREAT time of DAY!! Soulful, and sultry. . . AWESOME Kelly, you are one singing white girl!! Ms. Patsy would be "honored, I'm sure . . . and PROUD." Stick in with that good ole "country" sound too!!!!!

I absolutely love what she does to this song!!!!! She even does it just as well in a live performance that's how good Kelly is!!!! And those thighs :P Her voice is perfect!!!! She hits all the pitches effortlessly!!! Love Kelly!!!!!!
Patsy Cline was a soulful country singer and Kelly Clarkson did it well!!!
JayQue Miller pasty clein was a no talent joke and still is to this day. She will NEVER classify as a singer
countrygirl countrymusiclover please elaborate on where you got this information as it is quite false!!!
@@countrygirlcountrymusiclov9947 well considering her music is still played almost 50 years later, let's see if you are still relevant in 50 years.
Patsy was great in her time. But Kelly does it in her own style. That's what Patsy experienced in her time
I am related to pasty cline. She's my great grandmas cousin!!!!!
+Brittany Andrews so odd to say.
+Brittany Andrews what you said.
+Brittany Andrews awkward
oh wow how fun is that! l love her songs
wow now thata cool. i love Patsy
Smokin' hot... 🔥 My fav Patsy Cline song.
she pulled this off with sexy soulful perfection..oh my
she should do more like this!
I heard the beat and thought "this is too slow" then she began singing... Chills, maybe tears 🤷♀️ Patsy is amazing but this sure isn't bad! 🖤
A nice version!! Love Patsy!!
well done young lady!
Kelly has a lot of talent.
Wow

That's the beauty of this version

I go out walking after midnight
Out in the moonlight just like we used to do
I'm always walking after midnight, searching for you
I walk for miles along the highway
Well, that's just my way of saying, I love you
I'm always walking after midnight, searching for you
[Chorus]
I stopped to see a weeping willow
Crying on his pillow
Maybe he's crying for me
And as the skies turn gloomy
Night winds whisper to me
I'm lonesome as I can be
[Verse 2]
I go out walking after midnight
Out in the starlight
Just hoping you may be somewhere walking
After midnight searching for me
[Chorus]
I stopped to see a weeping willow
Crying on his pillow
Maybe he's crying for me
And as the skies turn gloomy
Night winds whisper to me
I'm lonesome as I can be
[Outro]
I'm out walking after midnight, out in the starlight
Just hoping maybe you're somewhere
Walking after midnight, searching for me

Kelly did awesome. Love it. .. Not sure what song the trumpet player was playing but it wasn't this one. haha horn part sucked.
I never thought anyone could out do patsy Cline but Kelly did, the voice, the style and the feeling and then the cornet, Sorry patsy but its all Kelly Clarkson .
that's very debatable and a matter of opinion, I'm with Cline
Wow. You must be young or something. No one can compare to Patsy. Kelly is good but she is no Patsy. sorry I don't agree. Don't get mad, just my opinion.
Sorry but that's a matter of opinion. Kelly will never compare to Patsy. :)

This BITCH can sing EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How dare you do that to patsy clines perfection...no no no no ✋🛑🤦♀️
Rea dumb free the dumb good job
Not better than Patsy...but really nice
No hate at all to the performance but this honestly didnt need the drums ...great voice but I woulda just done it without drums, maybe little slower
No way the original is better than that really hear that other song
Sounds OK, but too slow. Sounds like a black R & B. Not my thing. Needs to be done in a swing beat.
Patsy did it best. Kelly is ok, but Patsy owned it.
