Streetlord G-Rock from the group Street Lordz talks about the start of the group. We cover the early work such as "Rollies Don't Tic Toc," and Platinum Masterpiece. G Rock talks about Detroit in the 80's and 90's. He also tells a story about a Cancun trip with Blade Icewood in where people thought Blade was Nelly. We also cover the beef between Rock Bottom and Street Lordz in which ended in unfortunate loss of Blade and Wipeout. G Rock has a new film coming out in which Wipeout's son is a cast member. He also talks about the connection the group had together especially with Street Lord Juan. He also talks about turning down a meeting with Jeezy.

it look like he drink E&J now😭
he got out Detroit n went too Arizona as he should have Detroit has gotten greasy
tone look like a lil girl sitting up there he look sus
tht shit been dried up my nicca
I think this could have been a great interview but Kid L is just a little too young and out of touch to understand STL impact! We did not really mess with Eminem and D12 as far as Detroit rap went especially around that time. These guys did stuff that our current local legends never did. They had features from ALL of the top guys in the industry at the time. STL was legendary!!!
I dont think it's him being young I think its him not being from here I notice every Interviewer always asks the street rappers about Em and D12 and every time they say "we respect Em but we don't listen to his music " they always look baffled that no one in the D is banging Em's music in the streets 😂😂😂
For sure! They would never understand outside of Detroit. Like Eminem is a legend but to a DETROIT person…he’s just another rapper.
@@HPDavid313 for real I bet they don't even listen to the music they just see Detroit. Asking artists like payroll and peezy if Em was their musical inspiration😂😂😂 that shit don't sound no where near the same
I have to disagree. Everybody in Detroit wasn't into the street rap side. Me and my friends used to hang out at the Disc. Rapping over old samples. Trying to get into battles. Detroit had a very large Hip-hop community.
@@reno419rockstar elzhi is a perfect example of detroit hip hop there's multiple detroit styles from hip hop to street rap to that esham horror rap. Boldy is my favorite rapper from the city he blends street and hip hop perfect
kid look sus
kid l look sus sitting like a lil girl
Another Arab with money speaking on a Detroit culture he knows nothing about😡
I’m broke as hell bro what are you talking about
I know I know he just seem like he living in the past
he look broke asf now after blade went they went down blade was they leader
He ain't broke they made millions in the streets
Let me guess his clothes or no jewelry? Lol that’s a grown man over 40 years old that’s not how you can judge if someone has money
A rich looks broke not to show wealth, a broke tries to look rich and has no money.
hey all thm lame Detroit rappers sound the same talking bout the same petty bullshit
They all sucked, why they didn't get signed
turning down 3 mill he look like he would salivate if somebody offered him tht now this dude look like he couldn’t put cheese on his whopper now
🥷🏿 love G Rizzy from tha Mizzy (pause ⏸)
