Hey Chris, i really enjoy your stuff. Could you explain the Dinker project a little more? I have only seen it mentioned a few times here and there..... Your videos are awesome. I really enjoy the science side of the hobby and tend to nerd out. I highly enjoy your vids! Keep up the awesome work!
Chris you should really consider. You could easily promote your videos on there. Your work is solid enough and your videos are you not bragging and i believe it would help you on UA-cam. You could promote you videos on there. I know i looked for a page of you so i could share to gain you more interest. You are totally different than most as you do cover the science side rather than showing off. I have watched tons of your videos (for like seven hours the other night) and your different approach would get noticed on fb as well. If you had a page that could be another launching pad for your vids. Also......it was awesome to see you do your ultrasounds....wow! Your transparency with your program is fantastic.
Cool I'm getting ready to get some ars caging... If I get the 70 tubs do they have dividers for them for smaller snakes because I'm going to get level by level of hybrid 70 racks can't afford to buy whole thing and hybrid is cheaper on shipping ..just wondering if they have dividers..... I'm going to build my own hatchling rack with PVC though
I have a smaller rat and mouse breeding operation so I keep all my dust from my rat food until I get about 10 lbs. Then mix it with bananas, shoot it out a jerky gun and dehydrate it for a kind of treat for them
What size are your hatchling tubs . and what weight do you switch them like 400 or 500 grams.. or less? Just trying to get an idea of how big of hatchling rack I have to build
So I'm going to switch to the new bedding that is like pro coco. I only have 5 tubs. Would you soak the whole block and store it or just part or what? I don't know LOL
Every day probably less than five minutes, I just check the water and occasionally check all the water nozzles to make sure they are all in place. Then about one hour to clean tubs and top off the food on the weekend. The hardest part is the organization, trying to supply the right size rodents in the right quantity. At first that took the longest, now I just pair up a few rats every week and it seems to work itself out. There's also the time to euthanize and feed them to my snakes, not really upkeep though. True labor to feed and clean is less than 2 hours per week.
Could you please make a video from egg to adult and in the video there can be all the information like what size tubs throughout its life and I know you have said countless times the size to feed but that can be in the vid but i am asking this because I have been watching almost all your videos since your channel started and this is the first time I am noticing that your females are in a bigger tub than the males my question it that can the males and females both live for the rest of their lives in the ARS 5040 hybrid
Just another day at the office!!
Chris u could take and punch holes in the bottom of that big tub to filter to that's what I do just saying
Great video again!!! Such beautiful ball pythons!!

Great vid
What size tubs are those with the rat rack?
hello
Take care and God loves you.

How much F10 do you use for a bottle for cleaning, currently using chlorhexidine but find the find a bit better solution.?
So I'm going to switch to the new bedding that is like pro coco. I only have 5 tubs. Would you soak the whole block and store it or just part or what? I don't know LOL
I would actually just soak one end for a bit and tease out just what you need and keep the rest in the compressed block. That way it stays fresh.
Chris Hardwick that is kind of what I was thinking but wasn't sure. Thanks!
How much time would you say you spend with the rodent breeding every day/week?
Every day probably less than five minutes, I just check the water and occasionally check all the water nozzles to make sure they are all in place. I think most ball pythons will eventually outgrow an ARS-5040.
So what would you recommend I get what do you use sorry for asking all the questions
