Consume is warlocks not favored soul. You have lots of cc as fs. Pick up comet fall and SLA comet fall. That’s 2 air knock downs that also damage very well. Take sound burst for the aoe stun pick up the illusion sla color spray for more cc. Take the level 1 fear spell works even in reaper 10. and you can also take stand and be judged ability from destiny and cone of cold epic spell for aoe freeze. Honestly you hit so hard with light spells by epics you aoe 1 shot groups of stuff or 2 shot them all at most with perhaps a epic strike clean up that also can have cc applied to it
Of course you can! The real question is, do you want to run it in endgame for r10s? If yes Aasimar/falconry might be better by 5% to 10%... ish. In r7s or lower it doesn't matter.

Doesn't look like CC is a thing for FVS casters. Just heal muscling through mob damage. How's the reflex saves? Do you use consume?
