WOW indeed. I could just be seeing what I want to see but Wolverines claws have slowly been evolving and integrating into my own personal favorite depictions of the guy as the season goes on. They always looked as crappy and ugly as the toy versions from the 90s on the OG XMEN series. This series can hit you in 12 different ways in an episode. It really is groundbreaking. Fuck what Scorsese says.
Idk about the comics but after this the only one who should be allowed to kill magneto is wolverine. Magneto always had a unfair advantage against wolverine.
@@fabianespinoza991Wolverine isn't Sabretooth. Victor would definitely behead Magneto if they switched places which is brilliant how once again we understand what makes them different as people
In the 90's X-Men TAS 2 part episode "Sanctuary", Magneto safely guided his Asteroid M into the Ocean at the end of that episode. Now in this episode he's able to bring it back and get it up and running again. Another excellent job by the writers by bringing that back. Hopefully he's able to keep it this time as a safe haven for the mutants.
Another chaoic episode. Magneto is back in his original red and purple suit. Xavier sees the destruction of the mansion. Jubliee and Roberto are running from the FOH. I'm happy to see Storm back with the X-Men along with Forge. I can understand some of the X-Men being upset with Xavier for giving Magneto the title and leadership of the X-Men. Oh man, poor Rogue thinking Gambit is alive. Now, the X-Men must convince Magneto to reverse the changes he made to the earth by turning the power back on. Awesome, we get the introduction of the Blue team and Gold team. Now we know that Xavier is familiar with Bastion since he was a kid. I felt Magneto pain when he felt he failed to deliver a peaceful world for mutants like Leech. As his and many deaths that he couldn't save. I understand his reason for refusing to try Xavier way of trying to make things work between mutants and humans. I wasn't surprised that Rogue sided with Magneto. As well Roberto for his mother betraying him. I expected there would be a divide. I like the share moment with Scott and Nathan. I love Wolverine, Cyclops, and Cable suits. I love the Storm dialogue with Jean before they head into battle. Morph turning into the Hulk was awesome. The fight with X-Men Gold vs. Sinister and the Sentinel were great. I really do hope they explain the moment Jean got switch with Madelyne. X-Men Blue battling Magneto and him telling Xavier to shut up was hilarious. Sinister controlling Cable mind. I was shocked that Wolverine stabbed Magneto. But Magneto ripping the adamantium out of him was indeed shocking. This episode didn't disappoint. I'm looking forward to the finale of the season. I hope you have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing Beauty and the Beard.
Yeah. Lots of people don't start wincing till Charles speaks up. They noticed the swelling from the boiling of Logan's flesh. That metal came out as a liquid. You know how hot that had to be? Magneto induced it magnetically, like bigtime motor companies do to flash melt metal, and make it several thousand degrees in seconds. The bulges were his bones cracking and steam pockets forming inside his body before the liquid metal was ripped out. Wonder where that patch of adamantium ended up in the time-stream after the jumps... That rubble from Asteroid M is unaccounted for.
I hope they do a whole plotline with the human-sentinels as a whole subset of humanity now. Those powers aren't gone, right? They just dont have the master server Nimrod programming anymore, making them free regenerating laser shooting flying super strong.... human beings. That lady reporter who threw Beast around in the manor was voiced by OG Jean Grey from '92, so they'd be wasting a good voice actress with invested setting knowledge.
In the comics, Jean says the exact same thing! Charles replies: "Magnus has seen worse" and he continues to attack loll. It's fair, Magneto is tough loll
This all happened in the comics and their interpretation of the events are fantastic! Make sure to read Fatal Attraction and that’s where Magneto strips the Adamantium from Wolverines skeleton. And there are actually only 14 mutants on the Omega list… Magneto and Storm and Jean are Omega level mutants. Professor X is not. He can however reach Omega level with the assistance of Cerebro. The ending of this season, if they stick the landing, is going to blow us all away!!
Charles not being omega level makes no sense though. When he became Onslaught, Charles massacred all the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Dr. Doom, all the X-teams and Magneto (Joseph) all at once, with ease. The 14 omega level mutants don't stand a chance against Charles unleashed.
@@askani21 he didn’t really “become “ onslaught. It was when the consciousness of Charles and Magnus combined to become a physical being which was onslaught. According to X-men, Psychic plus Cyclops equals Dragonball. I'm inclined to agree, given the overlap of their "Kinetic" In the telekinetic and kinetic blasts.
Logan is a friend of Charles from a long, long time. Putting the Professor into that kind of trauma will bring consequences. Magnus can control the iron in your blood, but Charles can make you believe you are a 6 year old girl and have Jean doing braids in your hair... The most powerful telepath is someone very calm, until he is not. Onslaught is coming. Everything is gonna get a lot worse
Isn't there a story where Logan, Sabretooth, and Captain America liberate Eric's Concentration Camp in the 40s? That would give them excuses to have Logan know Eric and Charles their whole lives, essentially, if Charles was an early mutation presenter. Logan might have been among the first mutants that Charles ever met. Ironically, it might have been Logan that met both of them before they got to meet each other.
I think the Shi'ar might be the key to that plot happening. Charles goes to earth, immediately declared dead again. That Empress is definitely being fed evil thoughts by that vulture sister of her's. So far, six months passed for bishop and forge. When Charles returns, that M'dasha gonna brainwasha Charles Xavier... sha. Without his memories from earth, he will be a staggeringly powerful psychic with an empire at his disposal. If he grabs Cerebro in that state, he'd essentially be in a 40k situation. The only two things that might be able to start unlocking his memories again might be Eric, or Jean with Cerebro. Eric would be returning his favor with the memories, Jean would be returning the favor of giving Charles a better life. The only source of Charles' compassion when he gets his mind wiped will be limitations to himself, so he can comprehend limitations in others. If they fix his legs, there might be no saving him.
I dont like how this episode was like a blame Magneto for everything. Magneto was right for everything he done. He tried to do it charles way and they colluded against him. Get em all Magnus
You can understand why Magneto does what he did. But what exactly makes killing Earth's magnetic field the right thing to do? That kills humans and mutants alike. The only ones who will survive are the mutants who will pledge loyalty to him. He is just Bastion who thought he is saving the race he is purporting to save.
Yeah. Not every human hates mutants and not every mutant hates humans. It’s usually the extreme actions of a a few that keeps fueling the hate. Magneto would have mere hours to gather every mutant. And there’s would be no way. His option for them would be: come with me and leave your human family members and friends, or stay and die. This is assuming Magneto was planning to make that offer to mutants worldwide or perhaps only the ones remaining on Genosha.
Although I think Magneto is going too far here, I can understand his side better than Charles' side. At the end of the day Charles should ask himself: "At what point does my reluctance to effectively(!) defend mutant lives agains human aggression become complicity in what has evolved into genocide by now?"
Here comes onslaught. Geehus glad they have brought hulk in because they will need him to defeat our new villain and op broken onslaught. What do you get when you fuse magneto/professor x> onslaught. Side note why is storm always on C.P.T
