Y tú? is a straight-no-chaser Mambo. Based on an idea of "who plays the best solo!" This is a fast-paced Mambo composed by Manny Cepeda as he remembers his early days performing as a backup drummer for artists from all over South America and Latin America. The club was housed in the "Hotel Intercontinental" in Condado, San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is where Manny sharpens his reading abilities still with him today. Thanks to a musical director who took no prisoners, Manny was one of the few who stood the test of time and perseverance as your Latin Drummer.
