Andor is brilliant, it transcends star wars. Even if you don't like any star wars movie or anything star wars, Andor is so good you should still watch it.
The Sequel Trilogy DOES NOT continues the main story... the main story was always about Anakin redemption arc, at least Anakin's redemption was the main story reason to do the prequels... It never was about a Palpatine becoming a Skywalker...
Dude! Stop going around the bush. You were about to say whay Acolite failed ...and then...talk and talk not going to the point ,you tired me. Just spill the beans, say what you have to say and cut the rethoric🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱
Countless videos on youtube and fans of the show Andor would disagree with you. The Acolyte is canceled and Andor is getting a second season this year in April which many people are excited about. Do your research next time before you come chat to me.
political agendas got nothing to do with it m8. how do you grow a franchise if you already saturated the market or rather certain audience? you look for a new one. just that the new demographic was a poor fit for your product
Its not saturation, otherwise fans wouldn’t want anything to do or watch about Star wars, its the quality of the films and shows, the force awakens is good, the last two are meh with some highlights, Rogue One is top tier as Andor, S1 and 2 of Mando, we were all hyped with kenobi and got back stabbed,at least Skeleton crew is actually good
Damn you make a good point. How is the show saturated though? I definitely agree with you as i said Star Wars has kind of failed in terms of representation and reaching out to attract a more diverse audience would be good. But the show has to deliver and the Acolyte didn't.
@@paulaguilar67 by saturated, i mean there is only so much money an individual person/customer will or can spend on your product. at some point, you have to make the franchise you paid billions for grow in terms of plain number of wallets you can reach into, since that's what investors are looking for. op is absolutely right about star wars being a predominantly male fanbase and also right about the fact that basically every other dude on the planet is at least aware of star wars. it has nothing to do with politics, but with the "untapped female market/demographic". kathleen kennedy has been in hollywood for way too long to let something stupid like politics get in the way of making money. only issue is, she made a really bad call by guessing that expanding the franchise in a "the force is female" direction would facilitate growth in some way. these people throw more money around in a year that we see in our whole lives. if they want to meddle in politics, they can just buy a senator/congresmen or two.
I haven't seen anybody compare these two so it's cool u did it but I know a lot of women who like star wars, and the show was doomed to fail cause people are tired of woke bullshit finding a way to trickle into everything now, especially when it's the main focus over actually making good characters or story
Andor is good because its gritty. I got a great sense of the extreme danger of setting up a rebellion. Great acting, great script, great ambience. .
I didn't see either of them but I saw clips and that was enough to agree with this comparison.
"Andor" is good because it features no Force, and no light sabres.

Good video.
Uh, the Star Wars film released in 1977 was called "Star Wars".

I never said that all I said was that the main films are basically repeating the same story about the chosen one narrative.
chitty writing vs good writing
no it's just written by people that never cared.
