I rescue and rehab kittens, rescue anything else, dogs & puppies, rabbits, will trap or tranquilize raccoons, skunks, possums, will make sure they're nice and high, then take them to a reserve on our property and release them. Every animal I see, especially the kittens, I wish I could have done something for them. I understand radiation doesn't affect them like it does humans, but you can't help to feel awful for those who didn't get to take their pets.

Фильтра в пылесосах всё равно всё не задержат и выплюнется в воздух обратно как раз самая летучая мелкодисперсная радиоактивная пыль. И будут ей все вокруг дышать. Да и всё равно большая часть пыли смоется, а та, что затянется капиллярным эффектом, ну что поделать.

The area around Chernobyl is doing pretty well now in terms of animals, including feral dogs and cats.
Amazing that these films survived the collapse of the USSR. In the chaos they could’ve been thrown out.
