This poor lost soul…I could cry for him. He was surrounded by and dependent on people that mainly harmed him, especially his own mother, who was straight from the devil. He was never given a shot at an easy life, therefore his downfall was inevitable. RIP Sid and Nancy-hopefully they’re both in the peace they deserve

I found an interview with Sid on youtube once, audio only, but he had amazing clarity. I was stunned at how articulate and intelligent he actually was. The image he showed the public was a false one. Nancy dying was the best and worst thing that could have happened to him. I truly believe he was just passed out at the wrong place and time and had nothing to do with her murder.

It was his dealer that murdered Nancy. When he walked in and saw sid he thought he was dead and started robbing the place, but he didn't realize that Nancy was in the bathroom and when she came out and saw him she tried to stop him from stealing but then he stabbed her.

I mean, people make their own choices. The most common theme I see is people wanting to allocate blame and I’ve always found that strange. Especially when so many people who seek oblivion in drugs have had lives of pain. As a former addict myself, I know that a lot of us are just as fine with dying as we are with each fix. Either would end the pain, but one is only temporary.

The mother was more of a friend than trying to be a loving, protective, and caring parent. To have given him that fatal dose to keep him away from a notoriously vile prison, that wasn't love, it was all about her. She didn't give a damn about him when he was a child, so she had felt the guilt by trying to make up for his doomed childhood. And with what? Heroin!!!! WOW, SOME MOTHER!!!! #continue2ripsidandnancy

"She didn't give a damn about him when he was a child"
She did, but she was a junkie and that made it impossible to be any kind of parent at all, let alone a good one.
You seem to have no clue what a being a junkie means so I suggest you look it up.
What you should be asking is:
      1) Why did nobody help her? She was a known junkie, everybody knew what went on at Sid's house and nobody gave a f*ck.
      2) Why did nobody take Sid out of her care when he was oibviously in serious danger?
      3) Sid was a very well known druguser and again: nobody gave a f*ck. Not just his mother, she was a junkie herself, but not even his f*cking manager tried to get him off the drugs.
      4) What complete moron leaves a drug user in the care of another drug user?
What you should do is go talk to somebody who works with drug addicts and ask them what the life of a heroine addict looks like. You might learn a few things and learn to keep your dumbass ignorant judgements to yourself.

The job of being a parent is not to be your child's friend, but their teacher. Sid's mother did not do anything to be a good mother,he could've gone further in life, especially with a good music career. He could've been up there with Billy Idol,The Ramones,The Misfits,Blondie,Talking Heads,The Clash,The Police and could've been an icon of the 1980s music, but no! Instead she served as an enabler hence the reason he's dead now.

A majority of the comments seem to be praising this kid meanwhile on the Jim Morrison ep most call him talentless lol. If JM was talentless then this kid was just a straight up waste of space. He couldn’t play an instrument or sing. I have no idea why he was holding a guitar on stage. Literally anyone can do what he did. I’ve seen plenty of young people jump around at a punk concert. I’m not knocking him for being an addict and I really don’t take pleasure in talking about the dead like this but let’s be real. Mumble rappers have more talent than this kid did. At the end of the day he was someone who just followed the band around and partied with them and for whatever reason got called a band mate

"In the 2006 documentary Final 24, author Alan Parker claimed that Anne Beverley purposely administered a fatal dose of heroin to Vicious because he was afraid of going back to prison and had doubts about how good his lawyers were, even though the lawyers were certain they would clear his name. Parker's claim was immediately met with criticism, but the rumor became widespread. In a 2018 episode of the This Strange Life podcast, Parker admitted to inventing the story. He said he did so in order to garner a higher fee from the producers of Final 24. "

Alan Parker is full of it but people want to believe it because it makes Sid the perpetual victim. He killed himself that night by taking strong heroin after he'd been clean for a few months, the coroner even said it wasn't the amount of heroin, it was the strength of it.

I think the night she died was suicide-pact night. He's supposed to have taken thirty tuinal. He would totally have take a reckless handful of pills recreationally, but thirty would be deliberate, it would take work. He was supposed to die. He was too out of it to have killed her. He was dying. It took hours for her to bleed to death, but she never went for help. The problem is the knife wiped clean and left by the door. So who did that. DID she stab herself? Like some suggest? Maybe the dealer couldn't find any dope for her to OD, like in the movie. Maybe she had the dealer do it for the money because she had to die that night. People say he bragged he'd done and was seen with her money. Or maybe there was a fight and he did it. Either way, she never went for help. It's just weird. Afterwards Sid said he didn't keep his part of the bargain.

Mac’s was laced w fentanyl, Sid’s wasn’t laced- it was pure heroin, he just had far too low of a tolerance to survive the amount he shot up. If the shit Mac bought wasn’t laced with fentanyl, it wouldn’t have killed him. Unfortunately, he was so deep in the throes of addiction he likely would’ve ended up overdosing on his drug of choice later on, but he would’ve at least had a chance if that batch hadn’t been laced.

    • @pk6810
      @pk6810 Рік тому +3

Maybe she was too out of it to get help. It seems like most of the blood was in the bed so she was clearly lying in it for a long time either sleeping or like you say letting herself bleed out deliberately then crawled to the bathroom and passed out with blood loss. We'll never know what truly happened but drugs are the cause of both their demise. Just a sad story all around, they were both so young.

I thought that surely everyone knows how inevitable it is to overdose on Heroin using a syringe, after a period of totally abstinence. Heroin has a high accumulation/tolerance in the body, and this is the reason why addicts have to take more and more. Once Smack is completely OUT of the system, the only safe way is to smoke it (if you feel you MUST) -as the effects are nowhere near as overwhelming. NEVER EVER EVEN TRY HEROIN or OPIATE tablets. It is an insidiously will-destroying poison. Don't think you are too smart to become addicted, because it has nothing to do with intellect. If your piers Are using H. ... AVOID them Completely.

I have always thought that the main way people can help themselves is by completely avoiding ANYONE (socially) who still uses.
You'd never be able to talk them out of it anyway, so all you can do is keep well clear. Obviously this means disconnecting yourself from quite a few people and leaves you in a kind of social hiatus. But what's more important ? I threw myself into my art, started playing keyboards, then became a carer.
Takes the mind off things, you know.
