Nice review keep up the good work Her Two Wheels
Welp, definitely gonna watch that after I watch this!✌️😂
(Myself, married for almost 30+ years & riding together too!)❤
That ending had me laughing so hard.😆
You’re gonna die when you see all the gorgeous cows you’re gonna encounter in the alps!! And the sound of their bells bouncing around in the mountains!!
Reminds me of when I was riding with my daughter and she was entranced with the beautiful cows we were passing...until she saw the sign that said Farm Fresh Meats. 😮
And they’re mostly Brown Swiss breed dairy cows. We used to have a lot here in the States, but their milk is so rich they aren’t desired here as much with the low fat preferences people have. But they know you have to and will stop for them, so they think nothing of hanging their rears out in the road while they munch on grass. They’re well bred, pretty and friendly, but they don’t care if you’re in a hurry.
You will absolutely love touring with Gary France (Tour1). He is a really interesting British gentleman who has perfected motorcycle touring. He also did a 21,000 mile tour of the United States a few years back and wrote a coffee table book detailing his adventures.
Do not blame you for pricing appa the way you did! Appa rocks and deserves an incredible home!!
“Hi baby cows!” Love it!! Yup, that windshield you have now would give me motion sickness. My other rider friends say the same thing.
Great vid Jess! Love listening to you talk while showing us the scenic OH countryside!!! 😊❤👍👏🏻🙏🏻
Schuberth is probably your only option. Shadetree is loving his new C5.
They have a carbon version of it, but it is spendy.
Jess adored by the bees !
Cheers Jess ! 😄
That was funny…for us … 😂
Her Two Wheels, You're the best! I just had to subscribe!
Awesome! Thank you!
That BMW in my opinion, is your best bike. I own a Street Glide and I still like that BMW more that the Road Glides.
Looks really nice and hopefully we get to see more videos with it.
I didn't realize my $550 Arai Helmet wasn't sealing until I got in my first thunderstorm. It's a great helmet, but it doesn't seal. It's the only complaint that I have. I'll probably be trying a Shoei next.
mentioned their D-Day tour to my wife, she replied "Let's do it".... I thought I wanted a modular but I don't think I want to give up my RF-1400. Light, small, comfortable, good airflow, etc. I think I will likely buy another when this one has aged out.
Back in the 70s I was riding through Oregon wearing just a "brain bucket helmet". I had to yawn and a bee flew right into my mouth and into the back of my through which I then swallowed. I was going pretty fast so pretty sure the bee died as soon as it hit my throat, but the back of of my throat hurt for the longest time after that. Lesson learned
😊😊
😂 it's funny how the BMW that Jordan is riding looks a lot like an Indian motorcycle. The fairing, bags, and the front fender😂
I'm all for riding with my jacket, but it feels so good to ride in a tee-shirt when it's nice out.
Every time I see one of your videos I just want to get mine finished. Finally warming up here. So it will be really soon. Planning on going to the meet and greet in Milwaukee. Enjoy the Alps you two!
Spring has sprung!
Looks like a great ride great video as always good to see Jordan on a ride with you.
OMG, your Alps trip sounds amazing. Can't wait for your first trip!! Can't wait to see your new helmet either. :)
I find it funny that you are talking about gravel on the roads from the rains, and you are both riding without jackets. You know you can buy summer jackets with mostly mesh and still the protection. I know you didn't crash, but if you did, the road would take the skin off your arms.
Very fun video Jess . Can’t wait to see you guys on your trip to the Alps!!! Say hi to Jordan and ride safe you two!!!😀😀😀😀
Bunny king hogs does some beautiful tours through the Swiss alps! Stunning! Definitely on my list. Look up her channel. Her and her husband go different places but Swiss mountains are like being near God
Good video, fun ride and great company.
I've been pleased with the Bell SRT Modular. All modulars are heavy, but I've been happy with mine for going on 2 years.
Happy to hear of your travel plans, with Jordan. Very cool. Awesome video thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Hi Jess, coming to Switzerland bring your rain gear and beware of speed traps 😉 I‘m curious to hear what you think of this country.
Love your videos. Hi from Switzerland
My boyfriend has a dozen or so RC cars, thousands and thousands of dollars worth but hey, they’re fun and I have one of my own 😂 If Jordan is going to get one just be thankful it’s a little crawler and not an X-Max
I’ve not had that issue with my modular HJC nor has my wife but I had that rain issue with the Shark I used to own.
I wear a BILT Techno 3.0 and it is a really nice one. I’ve had several before but this is my all time favorite!!!
The white bikes lined up looked slick in the sun, lol. 😆Also the bees parts, holy shit 😆
For light weight helmets, I have the AGV Sport Modular. It's the lightest I've been able to find. I've been using it for two years and still happy with it.
The Alps? I insist Jordan bring his A-game to the cinema photography and photography. The man has a gift, and I want to see me some Alps in style. After that, I will be delighted to hear your impressions of the trip in your cheerful way, Jess. I may be demanding, but at least I know what strengths to play up.
Jess you better make us some videos about your incredible trip this summer!!!😂👍👏🏻❤️❤️❤️
I hope you get to ride with a couple I watch from Great Britain, Bunny King Hogs. They rode their Harleys through that last year.
My favorite modular Helmet is the HJC RPHA 90S. It is light weight and actually cooler than the outside ambient temperature. I know that you have had issues in the past with an HJC modular but the RPHA series helmets are higher end and pretty good quality.
Hey Jess for my long rides i use a Bell SRT Modular, maybe check them out….. I’m in the UK so we have plenty of rain and have never had an issue with the visor letting water in
Rever is pretty good. I use it regularly for planning rides for our group. I just wish the ride replay videos worked as well as Relive.
Nice vid. Nice chat and the camera positions seem fine to me.
I literally just bought a LS2 Advant X Carbon an loving it
i think your issue with the HJC visor could have been corrected. My wife has an HJC modular, and I found when we put the smoked shield on instead of the clear, that it needed to be adjusted at the hinges, to make sure there was a good seal. I suspect that is all it was with yours. As for new modular, i really like my Scorpion EXO-GT930. I've always worn Scorpion i like the features for the money and their antifog is really outstanding. A lighter option I would look at a HJC RPHA 91
That tour sounds amazing. Last year I took a tour of the Alps in Germany on a rented BMW and had a blast..2 weeks sounds even better..
Amazing!
My only thought about the Jacket, you must be a lot warmer there than I am here, (PNW). 😃
My HJC works fine in the rain. It is famous for rain here. BBQ seams like a good idea.
Check out Brown County Indiana, lot of windy roads.
So nice to see the BMW out on the road again. Your new HD is pretty sweet as well. Ride safe.
Thank you! They are both so beautiful!
Same happened to me when a bee go into my helmet and tried to get into my ear and I was on the highway. I had to open my visor all the way open and cause a draft while pulling the helmet off my face until the wind finally pulled it away from my face and out the helmet. Not a good time. Also the very first time my experience with a bee was with a big bumble bee at 70 mph entered my helmet due to the small opening I had for air, where I saw it coming right for me and it got caught in the draft and came right to the edge of the helmet's visor and exploded as it's body didn't exactly fit. It exploded right into my eye and I had to ride blind for a moment, but kept my composure and got to the side of the road to be able to stop and clean my eyes. Yes I have angels watching over me.
ACK
I was riding one day with full gear. Had a hole about the size of a quarter below my chin. Something got in and stung or bit me harder than I have ever felt before.
Back end you first got that storage unit I thought that a rear roll up door would make it so much easier to just drive through rather then walk bikes back out.
There are multiple bikes in there. The Dyna was in the very back meaning he would have had to move two others out of the way first. So he just took the BMW
Fantastic video 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi Jess. You and Jordan will have a great time in the Swiss Alps. I rode the Grimsel, Nufenen, Furka and Susten passes last year with my Street Glide. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Love your content. Greetings from 🇨🇭
Always enjoy watching ride safe and enjoy
Hello, Jess. That was a great video. I love how you stick up for our home state. Ohio is gorgeous and parts of it do look like Hobbiton. I hope to see you and Jordon at Farrow North this year. I'm unsure if they are having Hot Rods and Handlebars, but I hope they do. You have a great weekend.
Another great vid Jess. Ride safe. 😎
Thanks, you too!
Hey Jess try a LS2 modular I have one and love it the whole chin part goes clear over to the back of your head if want
Thanks jess
I ordered mine, just arrived and I can’t wait to install it. Yes, I used the coupon.
Agreed, the neotec 2 is the best fitting helmet I've found, but I can tell it's going to be too hot for NE Florida summers. I tried every modular that J&P had in my size, and the neotec was the only one that felt right. My old LS2 felt a lot cooler but gave me headaches after an hour or so. I'm looking forward to seeing what you get!
Have an ls2 advant x helmet. It's pretty light, modular, the vents work great! It's definitely an option to look into!
Go for the Schuberth helmet, I think you’ll like it! I love the built in com, it’s quiet and it has worked for me from 27 degrees to 104. But of course nothing about riding is fun at 104. 😊
I hafta have a modular helmet cause I chew backer and gotta spit ever time I stop or slow down.
Jess...look into a Klim TK 1200 modular helmet. One of the lightest ones available. It vents well too and has a built in photochromatic shield.
I LOVE your videos!!! I just started riding since 2021 and love it!!!!
That's awesome!
Im disabled so cant ride bikes my partner just brought us an ultra glide as i love motorcycles and always enjoyed being on the back 😊
If you want a recurve windshield with no distortion you need to get a freedom windshield.
Jordan you need to take over that Beeeemer
I drive through Zanesville, and see Farrow Harley-Davidson from the interstate every year going to spend Christmas with my wife's family in Pittsburgh. One day I will make it up there in the summer and do some Western PA/Eastern OH riding!
You will love the Swiss alps let me tell you. They are breathtaking. Jonathan 🇬🇧
Having a mesh jacket myself, dread this year's cicada triple swarm.
Love that your content is so relateable! Always looking forward to the next video poster by you🔥🤘
Thank you 🙌
UA-camrs, BunnyKingHogs did that tour and documented it all. Great scenery and roads!
Incredible!! That is going to be insane. Very jealous!
I recommend checking out the AGV Sportmodular helmet if you’re looking for a nice lightweight helmet! I tried one on at the Dainese Store in Dallas and it is definitely the lightest modular helmet I’ve ever worn!
I don't know when you're planning your tour but in 1st week in September is the European Bikeweek at Faaker Lake in Austria. Maybe that fits in your planning. ;-)
Try out KYT. I love my CF race. I jusf saw they made modular!
abba 2 looks nice. it's different switching back & forth front cam to helmet cam.
Great video thank you very well done. I like the bmw
Thanks again cheers to ya.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I ride with my face open. I love my bell modular. It is nice and wind tight for winter but has nice vents for warmer weather..and if it's real hot I just leave it up. I'm ready for a new one soon. Not horrible priced.. 500ish
You ever go to the Dalton dairy ???!!! I live right by you wish I could catch you out🎉
I'd be lying if I said I'd tested it in a torrential rain, but I'm really liking my HJC i100. It's a convertible instead of a flip up modular, so when it's warm and I'm on a slower road I can run as a 3/4 helmet, and then lock down the chin bar when I hit the highway or want to block a bit more wind.
You have such a great attitude towards life love you guys if I was in the US I would try and buy appa but I’m in Ontario Canada
Europe is a beautiful country, you need to check out southern Bavaria. It's beautiful
Don’t get a Schuberth C4!!! Noisy and the visor doesn’t seal…
The Klim TK1200 is a very light flip lid with transitions lense. Also, real talk if you had to go coast to coast, what bike are you taking??? The add on tour pack on the HD can’t be considered. BMW or HD
If you haven't tried it yet , you should make the trip to Lynchburg ohio , and try Terry's pizza and ice cream it is amazing
When you decide you want to travel north of the border, make your way up here to Nova Scotia. You'll love the Cabot Trail.
I had a fly do the same thing during my MSF class, my guess is he hit just the right spot in my chest and went up into the helmet instead of getting deflected, freaked me out hearing him buzzing around in the helmet. Hoping to get around to getting my license and bike this year.
Hey Jess I was in Dayton Thursday . (West Carrollton ) Short trip , a hour and 15 minutes from Indiana. Thought about you two while I ate at Sky Line Chilli .
I love Skyline! 😂
Jess Try the Simpson Mod bandit carbon. I had the Shoei Neotec and i found it really heavy I had the Mod Bandit for 3 season and don"t have a neck problems anymore.
@hertwowheels come on down to Marietta Ohio there are a couple bars by the Ohio and Muskingum river. They meet on front street
Ohio is kind of like Missouri. Only the south part of Missouri, below I-70 is the Ozarks and hilly. Above I-7 is basically flat.
I just started this, but what about riding left in British Isles and other countries?
Great to see you out and about. The conversation was good to hear. I don't think it's sexist. My wife and I had the same conversation, we can't be good at everything.
So true!
Sexist or not there is difference
Love your videos, I just bought a Schuberth C5 coming from the Harley Davidson branded HJC it was a good helmet but the C5 is way better
Looking for a lighter modular helmet? Try the AGV carbon modular. It’s about 1-1.5 lbs or so lighter than that Shoei. However it’s not as quiet.
Agv K6s is the lightest helmet i’ve ever worn. love mine.
I've been hearing the Shoei Neotec 2 is hot and the Neotec 3 supposedly is also a little hotter inside.
I've been looking into the LS2 Advant X or Advant Carbon X but not really a great place to mount my Cardo at. The Schuberth C5 is also a contender.
I love my trips to Ohio when I was a truck driver. Can't wait to make a trip up there with my road glide.
Jekill & Hyde need to put the Bong down and let their minds clear...$2,760 for two mufflers???? WTH!!!!
I got legit stung in the neck by a bee while doing 65 down the road… no bueno. 😂
Cool vid..Shoutout from westmonroe la. I
Appreciate it!
That BMW > HARLEY. Imma start a internet fight! I got a Dr. at my hospital that i sent to the Louisiana Highway Safety commission to get his endorsement. Linked him your travel vid when you got that BMW... he fell in love with that bike...and mostly the price.
For sure way above my pay grade. If in the cash, I would have issue picking a motorcycle for a trip thru Europe. A Triumph Thruxton or Moto Guzzi V100 .
Yet for all those CLAMS, I might go for the “Fly The Starfighter” at Cape Canaveral, in the Two seat Lockheed F 104 Starfighter zipping along around 1,200 KTAS and maybe a Zoom climb to 100,000 feet. I might go for this one😊
Can't beat the European mountains. It's like real mountain riding not like here, but it's way slower going with all the towns and stuff. But beautiful.
