I love this ride. Very different from most flume rides while still staying traditional with the big drop at the same time. I feel like most flume rides are just one minute slow boat rides and the only actual fun moment is the drop. On this ride, they give you multiple drops, multiple indoor and outdoor portions with incredible animatronics, and it has a story to follow along with that makes you want to go on it again and again (even if the story is based off of a racist movie...). I also actually really love the length of the ride. It’s long, but in the most perfect way, not in the way of “ugh, let’s get off this thing already” but in a good way. It’s not TOO long. Lots of amazing rides in Disney, but this one is one of the best.
6:58 you can hear the little gopher in the ceiling say "FSU", the acronym for Florida State University, where several of the Disney Imagineers graduated from!
Your family should have wore some water resistant clothes or a poncho for the splash mountain ride. There are some people wearing ponchos in splash mountain at Disneyland. I brought my niece to Disneyland 2 years ago. She chickened out on splash mountain and she worst part was she was being a spoiled brat. She was complaining about the weather being too hot back in June and she said she liked the weather in Ohio better becauseits colder. My niece has the wrong misconception that you need to bring extra clothes when you go on water rides. You dont need to bring extra clothes for splash mountain when you can wear water resistant clothes or a poncho. Anyone who refuses to ride on splash mountain is just wasting their time and not getting the most out of their experience. Anyone who chickens out on splash mountain need to quit going to amusement parks for good.
I remember when I was a kid here in Dallas at Six Flags we had a ride called Spelunkers Cave. As the ride took you through it a very fine mist would come down on you. It felt great and cooled you off!

Who’s here after they are talking about removing the theme. 😢
Me. It’s one of my favorite rides. Never even thought it was based off a movie.
I still remember this ride- it’s one of my favorite water rides-
Fun fact, Brer Rabbit is voiced by Wakko Warner!!!!!!!
So Rob Paulsen?
Marcus Blackwell Jess Harnell. Rob Paulsen was Yakko, not Wakko
@@katef96 ah. Nvm. That's confusing
So awesome. This was my first ride I learned while I worked for Disney

I want this to be a Tiana ride I’m very happy I’m sorry if you won’t like it though
6:58 you can hear the little gopher in the ceiling say "FSU", the acronym for Florida State University, where several of the Disney Imagineers graduated from!
I was forced on this ride
Never again..
It’s the foreshadowing of the smaller drops and stupid animal props that get you shaking in your boots
f l o w e r b o y that drop tho made me scared as heck
I was crying literally
Wow. It’s a children’s ride
Nathan Driscoll bro you think little kids like that big drop😂
But its a great ride how😭😭😭
I'll never forget going on this as a child! My favorite ride (other than tower of terror)
So much fun, brings back some great memories💜
My family never wanted to ride this because they didn’t want to be wet so now I finally get to see what it looks like
What
You get pretty soaked but it’s awesome!
You could always do single rider
Fluffy Hamster he’s probably a child still. Single rider lines only work if you go alone, not with any parents or siblings.
I can ride this thing 1000 times and still love it
My favorite ride theme, other than the old One Little Spark that played in the OG Imagination.
Pretty good, sure as you're born
BTempp yep, song of the south is one of my favorites
So awesome to see Splash Mountain again, after watching Disney's 'Song of the South', which inspired the ride! ^_^
if you’re wondering, the last drop is 50 feet :)
Just over 15 metres!
Wow
My cousin called me and said ARE YOU READY TO DROP 50 FEET FROM SPLASH MOUNTAIN!!?!?! I said no😅
Deiquqjfjaiiqidkkfdjkfasjckkxkaksk *what* ?
Holy SHIT that's insane I cant wait to ride it
I remember when I was a kid here in Dallas at Six Flags we had a ride called Spelunkers Cave. As the ride took you through it a very fine mist would come down on you. It felt great and cooled you off!
We visit WDW from the UK once every 2 years. First day at Magic Kingdom, we head for this as our first ride if we can!
have I been social distancing too long or is the sound of all the ppl’s laughter quite wholesome
aryswheel exactly
Best ride ever. PLEASE DISNEY DONT CAVE TO CANCEL CULTURE LIKE YOU DID WITH PIRATES.
I say this about almost every ride in Disney world but..
This is my favorite ride
