The next day, Arap Ali goes to the tavern again after work. There he sees the same 7 Indian soldiers with bayonets on their rifles waiting for him. One of them makes a move towards Ali. Arab Ali knocks down the first soldier with a punch with his strong structure. After this incident, the 6 soldiers who came towards him could not resist the bayonet blows. While Ali is struggling with these soldiers, the first soldier he knocked down with his fist stabs him with his bayonet in anger.
With a bayonet stuck in his body, Arap Ali begins to lose blood quickly. Seven Indian soldiers dragged Ali, who was seriously injured, to the famous Famagusta Port, where Ali worked as a porter, and left him there.Hearing this painful event, Ali's wife runs to the Famagusta Harbor and goes to the side of her bleeding husband. At that time, the following last words are poured out of Arap Ali's mouth:
"I came out of the pier side by side, I arrived in Famagusta, spewing blood, Famagusta port, port is port, no one killed me, religion and faith."
These are Ali's last words.
Ali's painful wife said, "Wake up Ali, wake up, you can't stand seven stab wounds." says. The people of the neighborhood, who heard these words and were greatly affected,Based on these words, they perform the famous Famagusta Harbor folk song, which conveys the memory of this sad event from generation to generation.
With his words, Famagusta Harbor conveys the sad story of Arap Ali in a touching way.When the lyrics of the Famagusta port folk song are examined, it is told about the treacherous murder of a brave man who worked in the port with the hard work of his hands and sweat, and who made his bread almost out of stone.
