A LOT of Meryl's dances were way underscored. This was definitely one of them.
These two were perfectly matched! Maks was so happy!😄
Is it a year ago that they danced? To say they are perfect partners for each other is an understatement. Of all the couples that have ever been on DWTS, Maks and Meryl are the only couple I come back to watch on you tube.

I love how he kissed her at the end! They make such a great couple. It seemed like he was falling for her during the season, but it wasnt meant to be. Now he’s married with a kid. I still love watching them together, tho! Maybe the best partnership ever on the show.
They way they looked at each other I've never seen that look before on DWTS. They were perfect.

What's this I hear about these older DWTS videos being removed? By Disney? I guess Disney must be the owner of DWTS. NO!!!! Leave them up so we can go back on occasion and enjoy. That being said - Merle and Max should have gotten all 10's coming right out of the gate - though I know the judges won't do that. But they came out week 1 with perfection. There will never be another couple with the dynamic chemistry and talent of these two. They broke they mold. Period.
You are so true. There my favorite couple that was on dwts ever! I always want to go back and watch them, why would Disney do that? Also, did you know that maks is most likely not coming back ;( he said it on a interview I hope he was kidding.
Kathie Kennedy ABC is owned by Disney, so technically, Disney does own DWTS.

Maks is an average choreographer, Meryl had all the talent in the world, a complete ringer in fact so could’ve easily handled much more intricate & harder choreography than he gave her. This cha cha cha was a perfect example as he’d done this basic choreography so many times before with other contestants!
At least he tries to teach his partners to dance instead of using fancy tricks like Derek used to do to compensate when his partners can't dance or don't pick up the routines fast enough and to make himself look like a brilliant choreographer. And speaking of Derek, he's had more than a few ringers in his time on the show.
