Nice machine. My hope is we don't end up with politicians telling farmers they can't farm because of climate change. We stand with our farmers they feed the world. Love the videos.
Farming practices may need to evolve, as they always have, but no one is going to tell farmers they can’t farm. Whoever is suggesting that kind of hyperbole needs a kick in the ass. Climate Change needs to be addressed and bogeymanning the matter helps no one.
Had a 946 back in the day. One of my all time favorite tractors.
Always loved the 946 & 976 Models. Would have loved to have one with some DMI Tillage Equipment.
Looks great and sounds even better, never get fed up with watching the 846/946 range of Ford Tractors.

These tractors are bulletproof. The most underrated 4WD's from the late 80's up to the late 90's.
Last new tractor my grandpa purchased was a 1993 846. Last new Designation 6 tractor sold by our NH dealer in Lisbon, ND.
We took the old engine out and put in a Cummins NTA 420 freshly rebuilt out of a Kenworth that was being restored and was in a collision which pretty well wrecked the truck. After adapting the engine it was dyno’d at just over 450 HP. After installation the tractor was a pleasure to run and no more comments about low power. Enjoy your videos.

Ford had some big tractors !
Put 6000hrs on an 876, never let us down, replaced few Hyd hoses as preventative maintenance, cab way ahead of its time and much quieter than modern tractors
The older Ford/Versatile 4WD's have been a favorite of mine for a long time. It's also preparing a nice seed bed. Cool video Jason.

And yes, this tractor has many lights, 4 lights in the front, 2 lights in both sides and 4 lights in the rear , it can work very well at night 👍

Beautiful tractor Jason and my dad has 2 1/32 scale New Holland tractors. They're really cool. My cousin and uncle Ross has one. It's used to pull hay rakes and a feed wagon and it's used a loader tractor.

I love your videos! I’m wondering if there wasn’t 3 transmission options. My Dad had a 846 blue Ford with a 15 speed transmission, 2 levers on the floor.

Rostselmash owns Versatile now.
The feds(?) made cnh sell versatile before they could merge. Monopoly issues. Versatile was on its own, but I think they have some relationship/agreement with Rostsemash in Europe(?).

No CNH sold the Versatile tractor line in 2002. Buhler bought them and called them Buhler Versatile. Buhler kept them the same tractors as they were as New Hollands. The only difference was the paint job and model badging. Then I believe it was 2011 or 12 they sold to Rostomash

Those things look good but so old compared to the next generation rolled out in 1994. My dad has a poster of the newer generation. I think they were the 98 series??? It says "A new breed of dependability" love the big Ford New Holland 8 wheelers! Thanks for the video Jason. 🙂

Traded a Versatile 555 for a Versatile 836. Used the 836 to pull a 35' chisel plow, 40' field cultivator, or 28' of CaseIH 7200 hoe drills. Handled them well but always seemed to be jumping between Hi & Lo range in the powershift because I was usually in 5th or 6th gear in the field.

Ford made a large line of tractors, along with cars and truck and semi trucks. Have you seen one of those County tractors made in Great Britain, based on Ford tractors?
No one in America *works* with them, but I’ve seen an 1164 and a Muir Hill at a county fair here in south central Indiana
