THANKS FOR YOUR JOB, I LEARN EVERYDAY WITH YOU
Holy moley - my gob is truly smacked.
I noticed the little detail for the shots of Ryan G next to the C130 (:35). Shot against blue, but you lowered the FG brightness after comping in the blown-out sky. I think it would have been fine without dropping the exposure of Ryan, but darkening him is how we actually see, or also how we have to compensate the exposure for over-bright BGs. It looks just perfect. I'm curious about the shot of Ana De Armas in the dark house against the window showing the city beyond (2:05). Real rack focus or effect? I noticed the change in shape of the bokeh: round in the middle and then cut off ovals toward the edges - what real bokeh does. My current camera lens blur filter doesn't do that, I'm wondering if there are any that do this, or is it custom code? Beautiful work! Thanks for sharing.
there are tools on nukepedia called cat's eye defocus which do that.
That helicopter helicopter
Why lot of change!
