But the answer for question 3 is D (50N) the 20N force on the pulley is anti-clockwise so it it was supposed to the other anti-clockwise forces

( F x 2) - ( 20 x 1.5) = (30 x 1) + ( 20 x 2)
Then you do your calculations you find that the force F = 50N.
