Thank you so much! This is very helpful. I might have more questions later. Well I just thought of one. Has this helped your mental health? I feel like I would be doing this for similar reasons as you are.
@kadethomasphotography5800 this lifestyle has helped me mentally. Like I said, it's not for everyone. I traded the stresses of one lifestyle for another, but I find it to be a more manageable stress. Hope you find this helpful.
how well is a woodstove like this working in a tiny camper like this? safety? Does heat stay in for long? how is it feeling in the nights, what temperature range and weathers have you had so far? You seem to really live in it for longer periods of time? i find that a very cool idea and would also like to try it too.
@budharpey the woodstove works fairly well. I have a tiny fire extinguisher, just in case. I do have to manage the size of the fire. It can get extremely hot in such a small space. Once I lay down for the night, the woodstove will keep the camper warm for about an hour, not very long. I sleep in a 0° sleeping bag. I've been in 15° weather and it's cold. In the morning I make coffee and pancakes on the woodstove. Hope this is helpful.
@@addisonfarr9062 cool, thanks for you answering! it really is helpful for others like me to see people like you who already have had a lot experience with a camper like this! all the best, bud
I thought of another question. When you pull that much weight, how much torque do you think you are putting on your gears? Im thinking of doing an ebike build, but the torque seems to be more than most gears can handle. Bafang has the M615 motor with 160Nm. I guess I could do a single gear, but not sure. Do you have advice in this area? Thank you.
@kadethomasphotography5800 I'd suggest maybe getting a dual motor cargo e-bike. A decent entry level hardtail pure pedal can move it, but e-bike will make life easier. I've often thought about getting an e-bike myself, hence the recommendation. Hope this helps.
Thanks for sharing, Addison 😁👍
Living the free life!
Cool to see the hitch attachment and the articulation. I remember the old build videos and the videos of the trip north to Lone Pine 🙌
@@Johnjds I'm sure the camper will continue to evolve.
