The hard thing for the dunk contest is a decent amount of these wouldn’t even look cool if they were done by a 6’7” guy instead of a 5’11” guy and the really insane ones take years of training. And then most the ones in the middle have been done by now

The best players in the world are playing in the best leagues in the world. NBA/ACB/NBL etc. This is dunking not basketball. High level pro basketball players can't spend every second of the day training and practicing one skill.

The dunk contest should add the top shot blockers in the league. It’ll make the dunks look better.. or the shot block more spectacular… and a shot blocker can get an all star weekend trophy as well.. They should also add another rack in the 3 point contest .. the shooter can select his favorite spot but he has to shoot over someone like Wemby who has his hands up.. not blocking the shots but just his hands up. .. and he can trash talk too… that rack is full of balls that count as 2 points and the last ball 3 points.
