Zoos Victoria put out a short but brilliant podcast series called Fauna for anyone interested in learning more about Australia’s amazing wildlife. They are truly one of the best zoo organisations in the world.

I live in Melbourne , agree wholeheartedly go visit Healsville Sanctuary, it is worth the journey out there and go to Melbourne Zoo, even just for the butterfly enclosure. :)
Our zoos here in Melb are amazing! Have you ever been out to Werribee on the safari tours they do? :)

AaaaaaAAAHH I’m a volunteer at Healesville Sanctuary (the ppl in the green uniforms in the parrot aviary where you held the birds) and I’m SO MAD I wasn’t on a shift to meet you lol. I hope you had a great time though!!! Healesville is an amazing place

Just throwing a quick question out there: I know that blind people have software that reads out text to them. What I want to know is, does the software read subtitles to them? If it does, then I could add subtitles describing what's happening in the video.

I used to live in Melbourne, so I've visited Healesville several times- it's so great, isn't it?! Petting the wombats and the echidnas are definitely top 3 life experiences.

I've been lucky enough to visit Healesville myself. It's definitely an incredible place
I used to live near Healesville and went to the sanctuary a number of times. Haven’t been for a long time - it appears to have changed significantly.
That one bird had so much sass. Incredible. 10/10, that bird would start a rumor about you then help you try to find out who started it

I love this place it is not far from where I live. That bird show is awesome but when my brother came to visit from NZ the birds would not do anything and he never got to see it 🤣
So weird to see this I was just there last week and I haven’t been in YEARS (I live like an hour from here)
I especially loved seeing that bird with the proportionally big claws for its head size at about 3:04!
