If they're gonna insist on towing with that thing, get the trailer tongue lengthened.
But then you'd be losing tongue weight making the towing much more squirrelly. As long as its fresh water I don't see the issue.
I pull my boat with my model Y long range. 514hp and 364 lb-ft. Plenty of power and I can get to and from without issues

I'd rather have neither. I find those boats too limited in use for one and secondly, I'd NEVER put an electric car near a boat ramp.

That's not the only reason people buy these cars. Some like not having ICE maintenance like oil and fluid changes. Others like having 2 or 3 X the horsepower and torque of a typical gas vehicle.
Yes. Or in some places the cost of electricity is way cheaper than gas, so it just makes sense to go electric.

Interesting addition, Torque is energy, as is horsepower.. both are wasted energy in high power vehicles.
So to have that much energy is a waste of energy ( electric), also making the vehicle hypocritical.
And as a boater and Truck owner, I can say this..the ride patch on a 14 inch car tire is not very helpful on a slippery boat launch, but maybe to you this is practical, just to me it’s a extreme oxymoron..😂
I actually watched this video with close attention to the details.
First of all it’s very clear the driver is lost, backing is horrible, and the boat trailer has no visible registration ( plates).
It also seems to be missing safety chains at the hitch.
And the lights are plugged in, I learned a long way back to unplug the trailer pin before I submerged the hot trailer lights in to water.
Probably more things but those are an enough to have his car and boat impounded by a LEO if desired.
That was interesting.. Defective boat ramp + Tesla = Boom😮… That was funny; I’m sure everyone was waiting for the same thing ⚡️💥🔥… If that had happened your video would have gone galactic viral…
