It’s a great piece of kit. I use them all the time for my events and there’s a lot of pro features that are really only available from this clicker. First off, the receiver is usb bud powered so no power brick to lose. Controlling 2 computers is the main reason I use them. Main and a backup but usually notes and show. The range is why most people use them. The iconic remote is in the hands of the biggest presenters on stage. You can buy simple remotes with just the go button for those people that button mash. You can use it in operator mode so it doesn’t actually change slides but the signal light goes off so you at the desk can advance on their cue. The bigger receivers also have a chime with a headphone jack so you can get a beep in your headphones every time they click. You can reprogram what keys the buttons trigger with a piece of windows software from their website so instead or right, left, b, it can be whatever you prefer. And most importantly if you have 20 breakout rooms next to each other you can sync all the frequencies so they don’t interfere with each other. That’s super important for bigger spaces.
YESSSS. this is the best hands down. never failed me. I have been using this for last 6 years. and its been perfect. I recommend for everyone who need clicker professionaly. it also can do two slide control to control 2 decks
Hi Zephan, Another typical usecase is when you have 2 slideshows in a different language (here in Belgium, it's sometimes the case, for example). The slides usually have to change at the same time, and this tool makes it possible with only one clicker controlled by the speaker.
The dip switches are mostly because on large events where you have breakout rooms, the range is so large that you can easily get cross talk (ie. I might be controlling YOUR slides even in another room).
@@zephanmoses Roger that. I'm just happy to finally see what they use on professional stages. I was filming for a speaker one time and I remember they handed him this kind of clicker. I've always wondered what it was. Thanks!
@@IdnanMisalmi the battery is user replaceable. There’s a screw to get it out but it lasts a long time. As far as led displays it’ll probably depend on the screen. Some tvs are matte while others are glossy so all of that impacts visibility.
Thanks for the review, the itme really sounds perfect it is named. Would you consider to make a simple tutorial showing how it works not necessary at the event but even in your studio it could be awesome?
Honestly it’s plug and play. There’s nothing to it. One usb cable to a computer. Press the button to advance PowerPoint slides, press the back button to reverse the slides. Super easy!
This is a clicker so it allows you to advance, back track, laser pointer and black screen but it doesn't function as a mouse. Typically, if you have enough notes that you need to scroll, you would benefit more from a teleprompter or confidence monitor otherwise you'd be looking down at a screen the whole time trying to read the notes.
@@zephanmoses thank you so much. The organizers mentioned I will have a confidence monitor. Question I had was would the confidence monitors accommodate all the notes, if it’s long?
@@vij8426 there’s no way for me to answer that. It’s dependent on how many lines of text it is, the resolution of the screen etc. There’s too many unknowns there.

Thanks for the recommendation. I ordered one. Cheers!

Awesome!!! I've been looking for this clicker for awhile now. Thank you
They're fantastic! You just have to check a few of the places because they're in and out of stock so I listed a few below my video.

@@czarlez yep this is pretty standard!
Nice one. Thanks for brining this to our attention. Im starting out so I didnt know how important these features are.

Battery doesnt need to be changed often. its been 6 years and still going strong :)

Bonjour si je voudrais l'acheter . Ou je peux le trouver.
Je suis au maroc et ça n'existe pas chez nous
Try eBay, B&H Photo or Adorama.
You know, when you present a product, you better show how to use it or how it works?
Um, you plug in the receiver via USB and you press the button on the clicker and a slide advances... It's not rocket science.
@@zephanmoses Thanks for the quick reply, what I meant is in the future, that is the essential part that is missing in your video ;)
I hope it's not rocket science... Here goes nothing. Trying it out for the first time tomorrow! @@zephanmoses
