Great tip about the soap, I was wondering the same thing about mine.
After doing some research as well I recommend you squeeze the trigger when you're starting it to avoid damage to the pump so water is flowing through it. Zip tying the wand hose to the side bar also helps with rubbing and getting a 90 degree connector for the garden hose helps with rubbing as well since the machine jitters a lot when its running.
I also bought the surface cleaner and wouldn't do any large jobs without it although my back is killing me afterwards from bending over.

Great tip! Never thought about that honestly but makes sense. So much pressure is building up at that moment. I was looking for a 90 but never found one. These hoses are suppose to be able to withstand the grinding on the ground but they still succumb to the wear and tear. Anything to mitigate that is certainly helpful. Thanks for your input and comment

Have a new one for a year, now if I can just get it to start. I think Westinghouse lied about easy start!

@@brianbradfield1370 dang! That sounds like an unfortunate issue from the get go. Hopefully warranty will help you out. I had the exact issue with my Husqvarna PW I bought from Costco. Used it a total of 2x and could never get it to start again. After paying $100 to fix it, then the pump wouldn’t work properly. We couldn’t get Warranty to cover it because of time lapsed so we bought this Westinghouse which has been stellar so far.

    Where is the carburetor

Hello! The Carburetor should be loacted just behind the "Choke/Gas" switch, under the air filer. I believe you would have to remove the airfilter to get to it. I have not done this myself but after looking at my PW, that seems to be where it's located. I needs to be close to those switches and the air filter. Hope this helps
