i'm belarusian, and this kitchen looks like literally almost every kitchen i've seen in my life. when i was a child i used to play the sims 2, and i was super confused because these detached houses were so different from our typical blocks of flats (tbh in my head even now a small detached house is strongly associated with villages or dachas). having a separate dining room is a bit strange of a concept for me too, ngl. i got used to this type of builds by English-speaking content creators (a detached house, often "open concept" and with a dining room) and even can build one myself now unlike little me, but it still would be nice to see a pack inspired by eastern European (more like post-Soviet?) architecture and interior, with those big cupboards taking up the whole wall, rugs (both on the floor and on the walls), windows with windowsills and sink counters with trash bins inside... idk it would be cool. I've seen a build or two in this style, probably with lots of custom content, and it was impressive!
That is so true and honestly everything you said about the detached houses I felt the same as a kid!! I am really hoping the sims will be able to do an Eastern European style pack because it would cover so many countries!! Definitely the wall cupboards and the bin under the sink would be amazing!! Thanks for the comment ☺️❤️
The bathroom is so so beautiful, maybe not the most spanish. But me, being Spanish myself, don't think I would be able to put together a Spanish bathroom with the sims objects. You did a really great job!
Aw thank you so much!! I’m so glad you think it’s okay!! I think the sims definitely need more representation of other countries but it’s still fun to try with what we have so this challenge was a lot of fun 😅❤️
I wonder is it just a playability thing for the sims then?? Cos they could so include little sills 😅😅 thanks so much for sharing that I’m actually so glad that I’m learning America does have sills hahaha 😂❤️
It’s interesting how ppl have different experiences traveling bc you said you didn’t care for France but did Spain and for me it was the opposite. I’m from the Chicago ish area and I see the major American city resemblance, although I feel like most Americans are probably used to something suburban, which is maybe why you were unsure. I love your take on this challenge, can’t wait for the full Japanese home.
The reason for the immense clutter in older homes and/or Slavic homes is not really practicality but uhm communism. Everything was very rationed and scarce, so you rarely got new stuff, with some items you could even trade because they were so rare! (My mum told me they traded tights in Romania because Romanian women had a shortage e.g.) Therefore you just kept everything and didn't want to get rid of it. Source: I am Slavic and studied that on top :) ps: I looooved the polish kitchen! reminds me of home .. and you are right, not enough eastern european or west asian representation! Just gentrified nonsense
That honestly makes so much sense because I feel like every polish person is like this!! I’m glad you told me about this I’m from the historical side of things, even tho I’m polish I didn’t even think of it from that perspective! I just thought my grandmother didn’t like to throw anything out hahahha 😅
@@sandrapykaa I meeeean you are right, she doesn't want to throw things out but for a generational reason :D also pleeeeeease make a polish build!! if you dont want to use your grandma's house you could make use pinterest or google maps :)
Here where I live in America, I’m in Oregon, we have pretty evenly balanced between trash cans under the sink and out next to the counter/island. I personally have the trash can under the sink, and I feel like that’s what’s most common, but if you have a bigger family then you have a bigger trash can that can’t fit under the sink. At least what I’ve personally seen😊❤
I’m from Poland too 🥰 I’ve recently found out that you’re polish and i wonder if there’s anyone else who watches you and is polish too 🤔 and btw this kitchen is perfect haha
I agree, we need more standard European stuff in the sims. Im from the Netherlands and we have simular styles in (Note this @EA) REGULAR homes and it would be fun to have some more items that are relatable. Rowhomes and smaller appartments are also very welcome :P
I am American but my family has Polish heritage and the kitchen reminded me exactly of what our family kitchens looked like growing up here in the United States!
That’s soo interesting!! Thanks so much for sharing that! It’s so funny that the kitchen has such a strong style I was scared I wasn’t doing it justice but I’m glad it translated the way I wanted 😅👌🏼
I found your channel recently and found out your Polish in this video. Funny enough I'm polish too but also live in Ireland. That kitchen brings back so much memories. You definetly nailed the nostalgia feeling with it ❤

I'm from South Carolina (in the US bc i know not everyone knows all 50 states...i don't and i live here 😂) and I've been to NY a few times. I liked it. Very busy but a lot to do, and the Statue of Liberty is a must see. Almost made me cry in patriotism lol Also, all of the windows in all of the houses I've been in have sills.
That’s so interesting!! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on NY! Honestly the windowsill thing made me question whether American homes have them is because the sims don’t have windows sills and since the game is mainly based on American areas I just presumed there were no windowsills hahahah 😂😅
I really like your Spanish bathroom, this kinda tile is commom in Spain and Portugal bc of the arab influence. I fully support that you make another video like this, it’s nice to compare the diferences between each nationality. As a tipo though here in Brazil (and also Latin America) we normally don’t have tub in our bathroom, only shower.
When I click on the video I thought you were doing rooms inspired by the country flags ie blue and white for Scotland etc. However did really enjoy the video and you are right it would be good if they expanded the cultures they represent in their build/buy mode.
Haha I can imagine it’s a bit messy but I still will go for sure!!! There are places in Ireland that are a bit gross but I’d still recommend to go haha 😅😂❤️
