- Railway station Choceň is located at the major railway line in the Czech Republic, Praha -
Česká Třebová - Ostrava, between Pardubice and Česká Třebová. Hundreds of trains pass through this railway corridor every day. These are mostly domestic and private passenger trains, but there are also an enviable number of domestic and private freight trains.
This is one of the most railfans famous Czech railway stations. A lot of railway enthusiast or railway buff used to watch live cam that was located at this station, but today it has been moved to the station Ústí nad Orlicí.
It is never boring on this tracks. Trains at certain times of the day come every minute or two. There are the most diverse trains that can be seen on the Czech Railways. This station has been modernized and the main tracks allow a speed of 160km/h. This makes this place interesting for recording train videos. This video shows dozens of fast, passenger and freight trains, recorded during one summer and one winter day. There are also evening shots with special light effects. At certain moments in the video, there are passing of two trains at the same time, which is not unusual for such a frequent railway corridor.
This video shows České Dráhy, Czech SuperCity Pendolino fast trains, Regiojet, ČD and Öbb Railjet trains, new Škoda 7Ev Inter Panter trains, ČD Cargo freight trains, Metrans and LKW Walter intermodal trains. There are also several Metropol fast passenger trains between Berlin, Praha and Budapest pulled by Škoda locomotives.

Another great video! I like reading comments witten by viewers from all around the world watching trains in my country. It is nice to see that railfans share their passion everywhere. So sad that the railway station building looks unused like many others after recent station changes. And look at the cold uncomfortable metal seating on the platforms - unfortunately quite popular with the railway infrastructure company.
I'm impressed. Some very lucky shots of two trains crossing each other at the perfect time. Nice!
An appreciation from NZ. Cab rides are king, of course, but it is good to be reminded of the powerful physical forces at play to get and keep a heavy locomotive rolling along the track - the noises of steel on steel, of flanges squealing and the concussive effect of a fast loco passing at close range that you miss from an insulated interior. Very good camera work, Mr dulevoz.
Some great captures. Particularly liked the freight trains near the end passing through the station at at least 110Km/h.

Chosen had a railcam slightly to West of station about 100m I remember enjoying watching as such a diversity of traction passes through. Is it still there & operational do you know?
it was legally forced out of operation by the SZDC (the infrastructure owner) around 2015 or 2016, i remember watching it before it closed too :( it was a great railcam. i wish it returned.
