I am in awe by his skill and focus on perfection. About 26 plus minutes into the creation. I feel like I missed a large segment when this amazing pot suddenly had feet and drain holes. I was looking forward to seeing how he would raise the pot and install the legs
Very nice uncle you are very good stuff for the designing so looking very fantastic and nice and hard work appreciate this is very nice the swimming pool small child
A Master Bonsai Pot maker at work, very awesome pot. Love to see a Very Old lady Japanese Maple tree in this Great pot. Nice to see the old way to make Clay pots, a lost Art in the New World. God Bless Sir.
Yes, I've had a lot of folks like yourself watch me making pots, which I've been doing for more than thirty years, then telling me, "It's a lost art though, isn't it?".
The hands of a master, you can always tell them from any other pair of hands, for they are the ones that use humble tools yet create masterpieces in every pot they make!
Sir Nakano Gyozan your B. Pot is a true Master Piece & so perfect & beautiful it s a dream you are a fantastically skilled potter ! I truly love Japaneze Potz^tery & Raku so much we went for classes for a few years my Mum learned how to throw pottery & had er own studio where I tried different technics out, I enjoyed this it was relaxing. Our neighbour had a lot of Bonsai Plants & nice pots.
Well you learn something every day... I thought I was watching him make a basin for a fountain or very small pond... but its for the trees lol... Nice work.
I dream of a day, long into the future, where I can make such masterpieces from muscle memory! Alas, I do not have that much time left, but as a master or an amatuer I love working the clay with my hands, I love how it feels as it gives way to your hands, forming into what you make it. Clay is one of the very first mediums that mankind for not only practical purposes but an everyday artistic form that people bought and put into their homes! The best kind of art there is, one that is useful for another purpose, not just art for its own sake. Japan has done very well in turning pottery into this kind of artform! Arigato Nakanosama! (deep respectful bow).
Thank you Sir for sharing a moment of your life. I honor your abilities to creat such a wonderful piece of craft. I would love to be one sitting quietly off to the side and just absorb your knowledge.
Judith Fenske Sure I could and I could wear earmuffs to drown out the sounds of the world around me on the daily... but, not practical and it was just honest feedback for him. I wasn’t the only one with this issue. I was with it for the first 3 mins but by the half hour mark I was looking sideways at my 9mm. UA-cam content producers like to know how the viewers feel and I was giving my opinion. Great video but maybe change up the music a few times in half an hour.....
Very nice but I wonder why he has not used the off cuts and trimmed from the top instead of using new from the bag ? Yes me to loved to have seen the feet made after all the loverly work that went into making it😀
Alejandra Parker. Yes, I am aware of how to turn the volume down, strange as that may seem. If you are not familiar with the inter-relation and interaction between eyes and ears and the sense of what happens, then you should turn the volume off of any programme and see and ‘hear’ for yourself. You can effect the same affect with good ear-plugs as well. This is why the comment is valid. As for the experience of others, or echoes as you call them, you will have to ask them.
@ 26:36 the edit completely skips how the feet are made. Very frustrating to have such a critical factor left out. It's like, here are the pictures of my infants growing up and here they are as teens and oops, here they are finishing college.

Same here. I guess he wants to keep that secret.
Very nice uncle you are very good stuff for the designing so looking very fantastic and nice and hard work appreciate this is very nice the swimming pool small child

I love the uncomplicated yet effective tools. Beautiful work
Beautiful crafts that are being lost, pity there wasnt an aprentice in sight, awesome work Japans finest.
A master of his craft, I give thanks to see his process. But it would have been nicer to hear him and his workshop and not this endless Muzak loop.
yup... perhaps something like ua-cam.com/channels/AL3JXZSzSm8AlZyD3nQdBA.html is a nicer way to present
Absolutely amazing,.. Thank you for taking the time to share your great craftsmanship.
Amazing work with the best seen pots ever.😎
The VERY best modern Bonsai pots in the business! Wonderful detail and quality. I have few by you and two by your father. Greetings from Finland!

Well you learn something every day... I thought I was watching him make a basin for a fountain or very small pond... but its for the trees lol... Nice work.
Great video, excellent hand building. I wish you showed how to make te feet.
Me too
C'est agréable de voir l'ancienne façon de faire des pots en argile, un art perdu dans le Nouveau Monde. Que Dieu bénisse monsieur.

Beautiful work. Music not necessary, I would rather watch with the sounds of the studio, and his tools, hands, etc.
Thank you sir for allowing me to look over your shoulder.
Thank you Sir for sharing a moment of your life. I honor your abilities to creat such a wonderful piece of craft. I would love to be one sitting quietly off to the side and just absorb your knowledge.

Great video and amazing pottery skills but that music will haunt me in my dreams.....
Stevo turn the sound off. Quiet.
Judith Fenske Sure I could and I could wear earmuffs to drown out the sounds of the world around me on the daily... but, not practical and it was just honest feedback for him. I wasn’t the only one with this issue.

Beautiful! A real master piece. TYFS ❤️❤️❤️
Very nice but I wonder why he has not used the off cuts and trimmed from the top instead of using new from the bag ? Yes me to loved to have seen the feet made after all the loverly work that went into making it😀
the trimmed slabs had already been left out to stiffen up, so would be too dry to blend in effectively.
Beautiful to look at this being made. The music though was monotonous and irritating
Beautiful!
HERMOSA ARTESANÍA FELICITACIONES DESDE URUGUAY.

You’re driven mad by the music repeating long before you get to the end.
I am now insane!
Mike Penny . I did warn you! Now you have only yourself to blame!
Annyai Presoski I read your comment after I had seen the video and am agreeing with you.

strange how the internet anticipates.
Maravilhoso! Parabéns. Gratidão por compartilhar.
¡Cuanto arte!, precioso.

I agree.
yeah, somehow the pot has magically grown footings
You’ll be ok.
Don't forget drainage holes. You would think that's important for a bonsai plant. Nope, let's show another round of smoothing instead.
hello from france, it's a very good job. please again a video ....; )
Wow ! Like if you love Japanese Pots for your Bonsai ✅
