I’m almost 40 years old and married with a kid and I must admit I actually cried a little. Dope or Nope with Tanner has been my favourite thing to watch during hard times, always managed to cheer me up. Having said that, I’m really happy for Tanner and I’m sure he’ll do great both in his new career and his new family. All the best to you guys!

Man, I came across Matthias’s channel years ago when I was like 8 or 9 and I’m now 17. It’s sad to see Tanner go but he will always be in our hearts and be apart of Spellbound and Dope and Nope. Matt seemed so concerned and sad. It almost sounded like he was sniffling a bit at the beginning. I just wanna say we all feel that. The Tan Man will be missed very much.

I've always felt this trio had a strong "Dad and his two sons" vibe with Matt being the dad and Tanner being the older brother to Woods, so as sad as this is, it also has that kind of bittersweet feeling of the older brother going off to college to pursue his own thing and letting his little bro live outside of his shadow. Back when Michael left there was a lot of doubt that the show would survive without his energy, and not only did it survive, it's thrived with Woods despite what the naysayers said. Without Tanner the show will definitely have a different energy, but there are still seriously talented people in the studio who can bring their own unique flair to the trio and I'm confident that, like with the transition from Michael to Woods, the show will continue to thrive with whoever they find to fill the third seat. I say "fill the third seat" because there is no way they could ever replace Tanner, just as Woods was never a replacement for Michael, he just filled Michael's seat.

I've been growing up watching this channel, I remember even back when it was just Mathias reviewing products himself. I really hope Tanner gets what he wants to do, it was really heart-breaking when he said he was leaving. This is the second most saddest thing I have heard in 2022. The saddest thing I heard in 2022 was Technoblade' s passing. I hope Tanner starts his own UA-cam channel if he doesn't already have one. Stay safe out in this crazy world guys!

Man, I've been watching DN for years now and tbh watching how Matt's and Tanner's chimestry grow throughout the years, even their content during the pandemic was dope af, then when woods joined the trio it felt like it all made sense, watching him go is like closing a chapter, happy for you Tanner and thanks for the love you've put in the channel throughout the years, I'm really excited for what's to come for Dope or Nope

I can only imagine how hard of a decision that'd be. It's not like just leaving just some job where you are barely more than a number on a spreadsheet. The friendships and family of it all come through camera pretty well. Respect for making such a decision, especially for why.
I recently lost my older brother who I was angry with and hardly hung out with I regret not being able to hang out with him or talk to him so I understand what Tanner is talking about when he says that he had a reality check I'm sad to see him go but I'm glad your focusing on yourself and your mental health😊

This channel has had such an awesome journey. Its almost like seeing a kid grow up. Its sad and nostalgic but you feel a sense of pride at the same time. That's such sad news, even if understandable... Dope or Nope, and OVERKILL, if it ever comes back, will never quite be the same again. Of course, I quite look forwards to seeing what comes next, with Dope or Nope being the last of Spellbound's channels still functioning, as far as I know.

I was at my saddest when I started getting really into it, and Matt and Tanner(this was before Woods) both were almost like my friends that were helping me through such dark times. I've been growing up watching this channel, I remember even back when it was just Mathias reviewing products himself. To see that now Tannar is leaving, one of the main stars on this channel, is really saddening. However, I am glad that Tannar is going to be able to have more personal time. He seems like such a funny and creative guy and it will be good for him to have complete freedom to do whatever he wishes, a new chapter in his life.
