This is the Dimash song that has most recently been added to the rotation at MTV. For the past several weeks Dimash has been the #1 most requested artist on MTV's youtube channel Friday Livestream. Dimash’s rapping in Kazakh and his subsequent fight scene blow me away. It could have looked cheesy. But Dimash pulls it off with total conviction and authenticity. Since he’s studied Taekwando the moves are all his. Dimash is a sweetheart with a heart of gold, well mannered and endowed with the physical beauty and grace and humble kindness. But, he’s no girly boy. At 6’3” and athletic (swimming, soccer, martial arts) and loaded with integrity, love and loyalty....he stands his ground.
Dimash is so versatile and capable...he can pretty much do whatever he chooses to do. But, that voice is his wheelhouse. No one can sing the way he does. I love it all.

Even though pop music is not one of my favorite genres there is no doubt that Dimash delivered another flawless performance. I actually enjoyed the song quite a bit. The choreography and video production were top-notch, as is the case for all of his music videos. This should catapult Dimash into the mainstream. This song will equally appeal to the younger generation as well as the generation that grew up with Michael Jackson in the 80s. Dimash is one of a kind. He raps in Kazakh (not Russian). Filmed in Kazakhstan near Almaty at the Royal Tulip hotel. Dimash studied Tae Kwon Do when he was young (red belt) but had to give it up to commit to music. He is also a friend and fan of Jackie Chan and sang the theme song for Jackie's movie Vanguard (on Dimash's Spotify....he has 2 channels). Part 2 is rumored to be in a mountain ski resort where he was recently seen.

By the way, Dimash has a red belt in taekwondo. Usually in traditional Korean taekwondo the red belt is just before gaining a first degree black belt, or first Dan. 🤗
Dimash had to choose between music and sports, and he preferred music. In addition, he began to experience health problems, and in order not to give up the sport completely, the guy took up swimming. Even now he enjoys visiting the pool at every convenient opportunity, believing that a professional vocalist must be a sporty and physically tough person.
This was so much fun watching you react to Dimash. Maybe he can RAP? I had to laugh, cause here it comes! I think we were all surprised by this video...in a good way. I’m a 76 year old grandmother and I just love Dimash. I’ve been watching him since Singer in 2017. I listen to him everyday. I think the reason I like him so much is because he can do so many things with his voice, sing so many different styles and sing with such emotion. Now, we know he can act too. There was Sinatra then Elvis then Michael and look out....now Dimash. I think he’s the best singer I’ve ever heard. One more thing...he’s respectful, kind, polite, very creative and loves his family. This is an entirely new direction for Dimash. He wrote it and then some guys in the studio started collaborating for added effect--and this is what happened. He is so brilliant! Dimash can doANYTHING! Im so glad you like it!! I'm not sure I like the violence, in someone I've always thought so sweet-natured and gentle. But he did do this performance WELL.

FYI, I have read that to keep in shape, Dimash does swimming and taekwondo, for overall fitness and to maintain his lung capacity. Obviously the taekwondo came in handy when filming the fight sequence in this video!

For those who love Dimash, another must see singer is Zhou Shen from China. Because of his small stature, feminine disposition and voice, he was often bullied in school. Never thinking that he had what it takes to be a singer, he went tot he Ukraine to become a dentist. While there, he was convinced that he did have a great singing ability, thus transferred his major to music. Thank goodness he did.
As an introduction into Zhou "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and/or "Time to Say Goodbye".
To see his versatility to genres, have fun watching him in "Ring the Doorbell", and the ever so much fun song, "Da La Beng Ba" where he sings in five voices.
For something different from him, watch his version of "Let It Go" where he sings in 5 (?) languages. and his version of "Monsters".
Would love to see you react to Daneliya Tuleshova- To start at the begining you would need to check out her cover of Demi Lovato's Stone Cold when she was 10 on The Voice Kids- Ukraine- She is from Kazahkstan and yes, she is friends with Dimash.
