Europan Technical Readouts: The Winterhalter

Europan Technical Readouts returns, perhaps for the final time (At least in the vanilla subs) to take a look at the last submersible on our list, the mighty Winterhalter.

The Crew and I are sailing in an Orca 2 right now and I've been on the fance on which submarine to upgrade to since we're always going deeper and storage space is starting to become and issue. The Winterhalter definetly looks like the end game though.

Could be pretty cool... would have to be an event though... and I am not sure wheter one could actually play with more than one submarine as such... but would be pretty Dope ^^

I would love to be able to swap the ventral lab module out for an extra weapons bay, more storage, or even a mid-mission detachable expedition shuttle. So one could customize it to better fit the mission ahead

I love the name for this dreadnought of a ship. “Winterhalter.” Makes you think that this is the pinnacle of German Engineering.

I want to love the winterhalter so much.
It was the first deep diver/tier 3 submarine i ever bought because i thought its research bay would be such a bonus but its just a massive handicap. "One of the few able to be called a battleship" Now if only its gun coverage and thus huge blind spots things like raptors can sit and get inside wasn't so horrendous because of the attached lab.
I want to love it so badly but when compared to the typhon 2 which has upper and lower airlocks, great gun coverage, copious amounts of space for growing salt vines, tobacco, and so on.
The only thing it lacks is the lab for the very niche genetic tampering which is just kinda... eh?

Hi i made a version of the winterhalter upgraded with better guns more storage for ammo and crates and also helped with a small coilgun the blindspot where its the electrical discharge
I made it cause i got inspired by your video

I was kind of disappointed that the science shuttle couldnt be used as a shuttle and detached for away missions

I'm making a modified version with a detachable shuttle, it's pretty easy to do

I'm even more disappointed when the gunners forget they're using explosive ammo and blow the hull wide open to get a crawler. It's still the best t3 ship, hands down.
