Hi Pili, if you carry a good bit every day go for the small, I personally dont carry a lot, and the toy is perfect for me, it fits your phone too, good this helps, either way they are both fan 🥰💕

Hi Vivian, i enjoyed this video so much, im currently saving up for a loulou but i can’t decide between the size small and toy, what i like about the small is that it can be carried by shoulder and crossbody but i to be honest i don’t carry that much with me and based on all the reviews i have seen the toy makes more sense and after seeing this video i think i like the toy a little bit more, its so cute and being all black gives the option to use chains in different colors, like for example if i buy the loulou with silver hardware eventually i will want also a black bag with gold hardware but with one like yours i can use silver and gold so it would be like 2 bags in one, it would make more economical sense, anyways TFS

i bought the mini and the micro lou in white then i got the toy loulou in beige . them i got the toyloulou in black on black. and now im eyeing the small loulou in black and gold im obsessed with saint Laurent lately. specially in my country its very rare to see someone with luxury bag here they are more onto contemporary low end luxury bags .
Yay, my bag just shipped. I got the mini black and black. Mine won’t have the adjustable strap and that concerns me since am short, but will see. I’ve looked at other straps on Amazon and I heard coach has some chain straps as well. Great video.

I want to buy my first designer bag after Coach Tabby shoulder bag, I am a big fan of Gucci soho disco bag and YSL camera bag but the toy and the mini have recently caught my attention. I am looking for the one which is a casual bag (like one can wear with leggings to a grocery store, no makeup life) which one would you recommend? @@lilaayy0722 Hi Lila, I had the College but sold it. Even though I loved its look, I found the quality, significantly, lacking. The black hardware chipped in no time and the corners were worn after the third time!! I was furious; I take excellent care of my bags, so this was not due to misuse on my part. The Loulou calfskin is a lot more resilient, so if longevity is a factor for you, it might be worth considering. Also the Small Loulou fits quite a bit more for some reason. On the other hand, the College looks *fantastic* when worn crossbody, while the Small Loulou looks a bit odd and too voluminous. Ugh. If only these were always our problems, right?

How is the black hardware holding up 2 years later? I have the WOC with black hardware but don’t worry as much about it bc it’s more of an occasion bag but I would use the toy Lou lou as an everyday bag. I am not rough on my bags but I am a mom and fear it bumping into the car when buckling up the kids in their car seats etc - stuff like that. Thanks!
I've been eyeing the toy loulou black on black bag for a long time. Love its size and it's soft leather. However the latest version in Singapore comes with a non-adjustable strap which is a little too long for my 1.6 m frame when carrying on the shoulder ☹️ I would have loved the versatility of an adjustable strap. After watching your video, I thought you're a genius to add your own chain strap 👍

Hi hon, they both serve the same purpose unless you want to use the mini lou as more of an evening bag, it depends on the rest of your collection, it’s a great piece because it’s so durable, maybe you could get it in an opposite colour to your toy lou to justify it 🥰❤️

I have both bags! Honestly, I find the lou lou model more classic and timeless! However, leather is softer and more susceptible to scratches! It is definitely not a bag to use every day! ! considering the leather of the mini lou camera is more durable, I would choose the mini lou camera with silver chain, because it is more discreet and easier to use for both casual and more formal events.
Great video and really helpful. My choice was between Lou, Mini Lou and Toy Loulou. I think Toy wins as I prefer the leather and on the Lou I think the tassel hangs a bit low and could be annoying

the ysl coated leather looks much better (more black) than some chanels cavier leather, depending on the season can look very plastic-y and not black enough...

Really like Saint Laurent bags and feel the prices are quite reasonable compared to similar brands. I have the small Becky double zip bag that I don’t seem many videos on but I think it’s so cute. Also have the LouLou toy, a pouch and a clutch and I’m happy with all one them 👌🏼 not sure which will be added next but possibly the small ☺️

i bought the mini and the micro lou in white then i got the toy loulou in beige . them i got the toyloulou in black on black. and now im eyeing the small loulou in black and gold im obsessed with saint Laurent lately. specially in my country its very rare to see someone with luxury bag here they are more onto contemporary low end luxury bags .

Yay, my bag just shipped. I got the mini black and black. Mine won’t have the adjustable strap and that concerns me since am short, but will see. I’ve looked at other straps on Amazon and I heard coach has some chain straps as well. Great video.

I want to buy my first designer bag after Coach Tabby shoulder bag, I am a big fan of Gucci soho disco bag and YSL camera bag but the toy and the mini have recently caught my attention. @@lilaayy0722 Hi Lila, I had the College but sold it. Even though I loved its look, I found the quality, significantly, lacking. The black hardware chipped in no time and the corners were worn after the third time!! I was furious; I take excellent care of my bags, so this was not due to misuse on my part. The Loulou calfskin is a lot more resilient, so if longevity is a factor for you, it might be worth considering. Also the Small Loulou fits quite a bit more for some reason. On the other hand, the College looks *fantastic* when worn crossbody, while the Small Loulou looks a bit odd and too voluminous. Ugh. If only these were always our problems, right?

How is the black hardware holding up 2 years later? I have the WOC with black hardware but don’t worry as much about it bc it’s more of an occasion bag but I would use the toy Lou lou as an everyday bag. I am not rough on my bags but I am a mom and fear it bumping into the car when buckling up the kids in their car seats etc - stuff like that. Thanks!

I've been eyeing the toy loulou black on black bag for a long time. Love its size and it's soft leather. However the latest version in Singapore comes with a non-adjustable strap which is a little too long for my 1.6 m frame when carrying on the shoulder ☹️ I would have loved the versatility of an adjustable strap. After watching your video, I thought you're a genius to add your own chain strap 👍

Hi hon, they both serve the same purpose unless you want to use the mini lou as more of an evening bag, it depends on the rest of your collection, it’s a great piece because it’s so durable, maybe you could get it in an opposite colour to your toy lou to justify it 🥰❤️

I have both bags! Honestly, I find the lou lou model more classic and timeless! However, leather is softer and more susceptible to scratches! It is definitely not a bag to use every day! ! considering the leather of the mini lou camera is more durable, I would choose the mini lou camera with silver chain, because it is more discreet and easier to use for both casual and more formal events.

the ysl coated leather looks much better (more black) than some chanels cavier leather, depending on the season can look very plastic-y and not black enough...

Really like Saint Laurent bags and feel the prices are quite reasonable compared to similar brands. I have the small Becky double zip bag that I don’t seem many videos on but I think it’s so cute. Also have the LouLou toy, a pouch and a clutch and I’m happy with all one them 👌🏼 not sure which will be added next but possibly the small ☺️
