- Old Guitkit kicks off August with the start of an oddball "two four" feature. This week's episode features a 1940s Tempo ukulele which was long ago converted into a speaker for a man-cave or similar hang-out space. Instrument-wise, this is an early offering from Tempo, with the instrument almost undoubtedly manufactured by Regal in Chicago. Determined to not only bring the instrument back into playing form, Guitkit is intent on upgrading it to include a pickup and volume knob. Will he succeed? Find out now!
