Such great ideas that really add "Evergreen" value to the classic ruins. It also means you can easily add new walls to existing pieces as the meta changes for those chasing the tournament scene/those modular "forever tournament accurate" terrain kickstarters.
These were great, thinking of taking some on a Warhammer 40k cruise event I work at, the flat-pack sold me (well and I mean these look really great, GJ!).
Nice and easy guide, thanks! Some improvements I would do would be to only magnetize one wall and permanently attach the other wall to the corner piece with glue, this saves some magnets and time during the build. I would also add a bottom floor, probably using the leftovers from the top floor of another building so it isn't to obvious that I had done that. Since you use standard measurements this should be easy as pie.
I was happy with the stability - they hold plenty of plastic and resin infantry minis without concern. The only thing I would suggest to others reading is that if you were to be placing heavier minis (e.g. metal minis or large monsters/flyers) on the floors then you may want to add a free-standing foam support collumn to just give it a little strength. Thank you for the question though, greatly appreciated 👍
Glad to hear it 👍🏻 might not be able to hold a full squad of lead models but you could always calve a section out of the floor-supports on the walls and have a brace-beam out of Bulsa wood or styrene that connects the two walls on the diagonal, giving the floor more support for the heavier models. Or a support beam that goes to the ground from the first floor that’s also magnetised. Just a thought, happy to discuss other suggestions if needed 👍🏻
I like this idea of being able to store them flat and easily reassemble with the magnets.
Glad to hear it. Thank you 👍🏻🙂

Really appreciate it 👍🏻
Magnets are a great idea - I might steal this concept for 3d printing.
Definitely! Makes the snap fit so much easier 👍🏻
the best idea in ruins I have seen in a long time !
Thank you. Really appreciate it 👍🏻
I was just thinking of doing somethin like this this week. This video is just perfect!
Glad to hear it! Let me know how you get on with your project!

Brilliant
Nice one
Thank you 🙂
Love it!
Really glad to hear it, thanks 👍🏻
These look great! Were you satisfied with the stability of these ruins once they're assembled, or would you make any changes if you did it again?

Really like this idea.
Would this be stable for old squads of lead models?
