- This method I have found to be most time efficient. Cast rock sling in direction of bird twice then turn and make 2 swings with Sacred Relic Sword. Run back to site of grace to reset and repeat. This method makes the most use of Gold Pickled Fowl Foot buff with less travel time due to it's short duration.
--Be sure to always do this at night to take advantage of chance on enemies having glowing eyes.
For those asking for the site of grace, this is the infamous Palace-approach ledge road site in Mohgwyn Palace

Today I learned that the best weapon for this farm is dropped by the final boss. That means it's basically a NG+ farming tool.
You don't have to go into ng+ immediately.
U can use Radahn sword. Took 25 seconds for 40k rune
Running a sorcerer, took the hammer playthrough 1, any good recommendations for doing this with? Im thinking starscourge swords but if anyone has a better alternative id be grateful
you can dupe previously found remembrances at those large walking mausoleums

If it's too late to duplicate the rememberence; starscourge swords are great for STR/INT builds, for DEX/INT builds L2 spam and charged R2 with wing of astel, but for pure INT builds, equip Godfrey icon, and magic cracked tear, and charged R2 attack of moonlight greatsword does the job well, or charged night comet cast with Carian Regal Scepter whilst holding staff of loss on the offhand, and Carian slicer for the red albinurics if you can't one or two shot them.
Blasphemous Blade is very good alternative. But nothing is like Sacred Relic Sword. Ask if someone can come drop it for you. It makes things SOOOO much faster than anything i have tried. Also running mainly INT (68). Got 25 faith and around 20 str/dex.
having that weapon, at that point in the game, it's pointless to farm.
Upgrade weapon and level yourself are not the same. PS it is for NG+ what did you expected?

ruins greatsword or radahns starscourge sword work nearly as good as this, just takes about 2 tries depending on how leveled the weapon is

Just run back and don't bother with the rock sling. You'll get between 40 and 50k every 10-15 seconds if you just use the sword ash of war and immediately run back

I’ve found it to be more efficient. It doesn’t take very long at all to do that second swing and immediately turn and run back.

@@necrodaemus7523 It is absolutly less efficent. you get 4-15k souls for the last few but waste like 5 extra seconds which is about enough time for a full reset

Tbh it’s not super hard getting the sword, get the black knife tiche(ashes summon)by completing rannis quest.
Kill the final boss a lot easier then scale it, once you’re NG+ speed running to this point takes around 3-6 hours depending on what you do so your runes double basically, and use the Golden Scarab talisman to increase runes dropped by 20%
Great video thanks. I found that ignoring the bird and using 1 swing in the right spot (about 2-3ft in front of the boulder near the albinaurics) instead of 2, is even more efficient.

Whats the point of attacking the bird thing
the bird will glitched out and falls down the bridge, which in turn gives you runes (20k i think, sorry i don't know the exact amount of rune)
@@MrBALAKUMARA it's about 12-13k with just the scarab talisman, first playthrough. Not worth spending the time if you have Sacred Relic Sword tho for sure

Forget the birds, just nuke the rest with the sword, hope forward a few steps and throw out another to catch those at the end. Rinse and repeat. With the gold scarab and gold fowl foot I was getting 135K on NG+
Make sure you run back and rest to keep your gold fowl foot buff
Is using hoafrost stomp still viable in this grinding spot?
it does no dmg for me somehow. i use rottwn breath for this, just use it 2-3 times on grouped enemies

Can anyone tell what other weapon can be used to farm this spot? It’s pretty damn tiring tryna kill them one by one
@@mourii8643 you won’t be able to kill them efficiently enough to make it worthwhile, without the Relic Sword.
Waves of gold is pretty essential if farming in NG+ and beyond, but for NG runs, good aoe weapon skills can make the farming less tedious, starscourge greatswords are my favourite, blasphemous blade, and ruins greatsword are other good alternatives
Another alternative is rahdans sword you get it after killing him and using his remembrance token and picking the sword

Blasphemous Blade is decent-ish option, can one shot like 3-4 at once. But Sacred Relic Sword is by far the best option, ask if someone could drop it for you in multiplayer? :)
Why are you casting Rock Sling in that direction?
There's a bird over there that runs off the cliff if you either shoot him with a bow or do that
To get that bird to run off the edge and die. It’s worth a lot of runes.
@@necrodaemus7523 its very slow with the rock sling , i kill the bird with bow as soon as it passes the last branch of the tree, and reset all in 6-7 sec, the bird should never be allowed to go back.

I don t oneshot them what do I do?
You can respec your stats talking to Rennala and using a larval tear (they are a little bit rare to find) to "rebirth". Then for farming, level up the stats you need to use the sword and put all the points you can to Dex and Faith, because the sword mainly scales with those stats. Then upgrade the sword all you can/want.
When you are done farming lvls, talk again to Rennala and respec your stats (using another larval tear) as you had before and use the lvl points you gain as you wish.
+8 or +9 the sword then use shard of alexander
@@Dela9999 you one shot them if you just upgrade the weapon tho. Im just running 20 dex/str and 25 faith, so if you can equip weapon i would just upgrade that with sombers instead :) Mine is good enough at +7

@@stiven355It's a special sword that you can get only after the last boss (if you don't have it but you've beatwn the boss, don't use his rememberance to get runes, without it you can't get the sword, even if you've used it you can still create another rememberance that would give you the sword, just search online how to copy it), the sword beeds to be upgraded close to max level and it would start to one shot tham with the ash of war.
It's the best farm if you want to go on ng+ and above but for just ng It's besically useless, there is no sword or spell that would give you as many runes per minute and it would be better to use another farm that is in the same exact location.

smart guy you can go ng+ and there are other ways of farming,like killing the bird or using an alternate weapon with a big area to kill them,like the mogh trident
