Thanks for the informative video.
We have applied 4 mm MDF sheet on our door and then MDF trims on it. Now, we are doing 3 coats of Desi lapi of maruti brand and then should we use Asian paints royal matt or Asian paints apoclyte enamel matt paint which you shown in video? Royal is considered better, should we use it on doors? It's just 7-8 rs per sq feet costlier than apoclyte including labour.

Humare old wooden doors hain . 40 years old . Uppar white paint hua hai . Andar kaun si quality ki wood hai ye nahi maloom . Mere in-laws ka house tha aur unki death ho gyi hai . Aap ne bataya hai ki old white paint ko remove kar ke new paint karna hai putty laga ke . Kya white paint ke uppar direct paint nahi jo sakta ? Paint removal ki bhi labour lagegi and repaint ki bhi alag. Agar wood achi hai andar to kya usko polish bhi karwa sakte hai Gun spray se ? Old wood hai doors windows and frames pe . Aajkal moulding wale doors ka trend nahi hai itna .

I have watched many of your videos and you have given great advice but the information provided in this video is misleading. You have particularly advised to go for Matt paint but it isn't available in the Indian markets. This is a fairly recent video and the information provided by you should be according to latest availability.
You can go for satin finish which is mid between glossy and matt!
Yes, I have also been trying to find Enamel Matt but only Satin is available.

Fabulous advice but you might confuse your viewers. Aap 'animal' (jaanwar) paint keh rahe hain jab aapko 'enamel' paint kehna hai. You can say it like 'Inaamil'.
Dako is a good producer of doors. They are worth checking out.

Sir pehle hamare doors pe white enamel ho rakha h to painter bolte h ki ye remove nhi hota wo usi par sand paper laga ke primer karke dusra colour apply karte h kya ye tarika sahi h ? Or me un par grey colour karwana chahta hu to sir problem ye h ki painter Matt ki jagah Satin enamel le aaye dono me difference hota h kya ? or dusra jese ki aapne grey colour Wale door ki photo me dikhaya h usme handles or door lock golden finish me h to wo konsa colour h ? market me to normal sprinkling golden colour aata h kya wo apply kar sakte h ?

What is better, the alluminium frame doors or is there an options for Upvc. What will be the cost of a sliding door. what are the types of mechanisms available for a sliding door. Hi Manish ji, i wanted to do chalk putty on my new door( ply door). However my contractor advised not to use chalk putty saying it would come out after a couple of years due to usage. Please advise.
