Ok, I’ve got a suggestion. Include the score length and the box sizes of the different pens. It’s a long score in Houston...but how long? Also, I see here it’s Canadian tie rules I guess (no 6 second tie down), tell us if that’s the case. As we go through the summer there will be a lot of different pens and ground rules that we would love to know. I have ridden at a lot of these rodeos 15 years ago and I don’t even know the format they use now, tell us how it works. I bet a lot of us don’t see these on tv so we don’t know. It would a make really great addition to the channel. It sounds like you’ve got some friends still going and could get the info. Keep it up, this is like sports center for tie down!
Thanks for the great feedback! I'll try to spend some time looking at the Business Journal before hand and have more info on the different formats. And yeah, I'll see what I can find out about the barriers and such. Most of them have been setup the same way for decades so should be able to. I've had to pay more attention to which of the bracket format rodeos are running the Canadian rule because its more of them than I realized.
Yeah, I didn’t know any of them were running Canadian rules. This channel is really good and there is huge potential to grow. I’m announcing and roping at rodeos in the Great Lakes area all summer, let me know if I can do anything for you.
