Information thats needed. I gave my brother my x8 for Xmas. I still have the Bear Attack and the SB1 for myself. I'm trying to get him back into the woods with me. Gtound himself...get 1 with God's creation. No stress, just relax and take it in. But I'll need this information for later Sean bringing the info once again. Thank you Brother and God bless you and your family
My Dragon X8 is supposed to be at 67.5lbs per the owners manual chart. My pull gauge has it at roughly 60lbs. I checked my limbs are completely tightened up. My tiller, brace height and a2a are all to book specs. Is there anything I might have missed? Thank you for putting this info out for us, I’m barely getting back into archery and I feel I would’ve been overwhelmed had I not found these videos.
Not necessarily. Take them off and measure them and twist them as needed to reach manufacture specifications if they’ve stretched. Otherwise you generally are just twisting the cable or cables for tuning
Great job making this understandable for a beginner.
Thanks

Awesome, thanks for helping him get back I to it. God bless you
On the topic of x8 maintenance could you speak to or do a video on string cleaning, wax, and serving? Thank you.
Here is an older video I did on waxing a bowstring. It applies to the Dragon X8 as well. ua-cam.com/video/1NmZ0BTSdV4/v-deo.html

You need to shorten the cables by adding twist to increase the draw weight
Do I twist the string the same amount as the cables?
