Tip 6 makes me feel better about my dance- I often try to match the song's mood/lyrics, or intentionally go slow and take it easy at the beginning and then amp it up during the chorus. I love putting my expression into the song. People in my area's Dancerush community often love doing crazy techniques from the getgo and I feel pretty intimidated, as if I have to copy them to fit in.
Yeaaaaaaaah, don't worry about them, bro. Take that backflip analogy to heart. Your peaks are only as high as the difference in your valleys, in terms of energy and variation.
Wow, how does this not have more views? This is amazing! There's not that many videos explaining how to get better at Dancerush Stardom out there... this is so well made
great video the best thing I used to do was turning off the Left Right indicators and put both notes in one color. I feel like that would give more room for freestyle to dance as well.
great video especially the part about using poses to up your dance. If you ever watch break dancers do the top rock they are shifting pose to pose on the beat and it always looks clean and intentional. its the same when they pose between heads spins airfares and the final pose normally something iconic to leave a great impression.
"recording yourself, FEEL DISGUSTED and fine tune every little thing you can about your movements" the disgusted part xD that's me, but hey it's all part of growth
This was super helpful thank you! I just started playing 2 days ago and I'm hooked 🤩 I'm not much of a dancer but I like dancing and I don't like the attention b/c I'm not confident but it's super fun. I made myself play for 30 mins despite all my insecurities to build up my confidence in myself and not care about what other people might think
Sharing this with all of my friends at Round1 Puente Hills Mall of SoCal, hahaha this is incredibly helpful and insightful!! Which country do you live in and which arcade do you go to?
I actually wanted to make this exact video but have been putting off making a DRS channel as a whole due to other things in life being more important at the moment. First time I felt regret keeping all my runs so far unlisted as I could have been a perfect "dont do that" example for ya :P
DR's average BPM is way lower than DDR/PIU to match more modern dance music DR feels like 120-150 is the average, while 150-180 is the sweetspot for DDR
On my birthday my cousin forced me on a pump it up machine everything went wrong for us and here I am wanting to grind Dancerush am evil to myself haha
Wow great video I play this game 1once and I need practice and like to learn I’m a beginner and like to start learning how to play and learn the movies
OMG, HAHAHA. 3:47 got me cracking up, beautiful joke execution. Thanks for making this video man!!! Hope to see more
Ah jeez. Now it's only a matter of time before you guys become DRS world champions.
I saw this a year back and saw this again now. Great editing 10/10, will recommend to my grandchildren.

This is EXACTLY how to self express. You do it to what you FEEL. You're doing just fine, you're doing it your way never change.
It surprised me so much to hear Dance Central recommended in a DRS video!!
This editing alone deserves more views. Excellent stuff.
The fact you blasted your subscriber count had me wheezing. Subbed
The pose design as dance shapes thing is so very yes to me
That end got me. xD Really good stuff! Glad I was a part of this. owo

I'm way over here in the southeast coast of the states so I usually only have access to the notorious STM Round1. It is not cash money.
Underrated channel. I'm glad im here
This video is very informative and i wanna give this game a try. We in the west need more dance rush
great video, btw, whats the song name at 1:27? it sounds like a banger
Kill the Beat, Lapix. Extended version is goated bboy material.
Amazing video and I loved your points made. Thank you for that

One thing I enjoyed about DDR/PIU is finding low BPM chill songs where I don't need to kill with speed. Can I get that with DR? It's still super fun.

Damn.
To be fair the song butterfly goes hard right from the get-go
What is the name of the song that starts at 7:07
Take Me Higher - Kotonohouse.
Spongebob voice: LOOK GARY THERE I AM
Sticky shoes, though? Mine are hard to slide!
sweet now I can become and epic rhythm gamer
Does the game send you videos of yourself?
To be honest, I have no idea how it works. Us Americans just staple a phone mount to the cabinet to record ourselves.
