The fact that they made us cried multiple times in a *short story* is incredible, not even the side story, but a short one, god i wish everyone involved with GT the best
I only realized the backstory that Bari was here before near the end. The choice on whether or not to sacrifice your memory or theirs... Is also painful. A shame we never truly met Helena. She was a beautiful women who is best represented by Edelweiss, holding the memories of her forgetful sister dear.
I personally didn't find it a hard choice to sacrifice the people's memories, it was clearly stated that this would be the payment. But then again I love tragedies so this just made the game better for me
The writers of Guardian Tales, I'm honestly impressed with these people.. To be able to not only create stories that bring out the emotions of their viewers but to also grant them desire to want more of these heroic and tragic tales.. to feel and see where these tales progress, where they'll lead in the future, and how they inevitably end.. Then proceed to pull it all into a cycle of what ifs and wonders ..that's the essence of Guardian Tales.. As the Devs once stated It's Our Tale...So fellow Guardians let's see how our tale flows from Beginning to the Final Act.. Enjoy.

Who would've thought a gacha game would make me cry. I've watched countless movies, read books, reading the bible; that has some invoking tear jerking moments as well. But, a gacha game I really started to fall in love with has made me cry countless times, and the ending was just too sad. They managed to tell a compelling story in 2mb's worth of content. The dev's really have talent. Don't get me started on world 10 and 11. Damn, I just wish this was a full fledged RPG at this point.
The game where I thought that its all about finding all heroes and smashing the invaders, I even thought the death in world 2 would not get worse but here we are now HAHAHA

Really love the story telling in this game. A lot of moments made me cry. Bari's and Helena's past, Sohee getting desperate,and I saw a video about Lana in a wheelchair. Really hit you where it hurts.

Hmm, although this is just a small story in a small Gacha game, it turned out to be kind, touching and instructive, which surprised me. And this beautiful musical accompaniment created an atmosphere of calm and a little joy for me walking through these beautiful pixel flower beds, looking at characters.Cool music.Thank you man for share it.

This short story was honestly perfect. From the music to the story, I think it showcases Guardian Tales' strongest point. If I wanted to hook someone into the game, I would probably tell them to play this story first just because some people might not play until world 10, which is probably when most people will get immersed in the game.
This got recommended to me only now, which is a bit sad, since I stopped playing GT for, already, 4 months (by the time I'm writing this). The reason is also very stupid and could be totally avoided. Sit down and grab some popcorns because this is gonna be a long comment. I accidentally broke my last phone by making the screen fall flat on the floor. At first I didn't realize what this meant, then, 3 days later, I got my new phone, started checking it out, opened the new apps, checked my games, only to find out that a lot of them were completely reset and I wasn't able to recover my saved data for some unknown reason. Unfortunately, Guardian Tales was one of these. Knowing this tore me apart since I started playing GT back when it was released in 2020, I had a 100% story file, still had to finish some side modes, but apparently all my effort is now lost between codes and inputs and I will never get it back. To this day GT is the only game I didn't delete (even if I don't think I will play it anymore), because it' just too big of a memory to let go of this easily. This song helped me remember the pain of that discovery, while also reminding me that nothing is eternal; it would have been time to grow up and detach from this silly games anyways... One positive thing I can say is that my save file at least has a happy ending storywise, since I completed Season 2 and what I saw (no spoilers) counts as a happy ending for me. I don't know if I was just keeping all this speech inside myself for very long or if it just came in while writing this thanks to this song, all I can say is: fellow comment reader, if you haven't tried out Guardian Tales yet, give it a shot, it's got a very long and complex story, beautiful graphics, charming characters and a lot, lot of content; surely something you can't forget... (sorry my inner salesman kicked in) But for me, it is now time to let go... Hope you liked your popcorns, yall :)
A Great story in a game is good, but bad gameplay can ruin it and vice versa. That's what I don't like with most rpg games, but guardians tales has both an epic story and gamely that makes you FEEL that you are in the story. Best example of this is level 10-5 where we have to move against the clock to save the refugees. It was very very hard, intense, emotional. It made me feel desperation, frustration, hope, and I used all my skill and experience on 2d rpg action since I played lots of games who have a similar combat system to GT. Play the level and you would understand
Excatly and this is why we needed to go back for her, even if it meant hurting future princess feelings. We can either live in a time not meant for us or came back to where we belong and make a difference so that the future changes for the better

@@KuroiShiAnimu well....at the ending bari seems to not really shown a lot of concern about Helena since she not remember anything...the flashback itself seems just the story want to show the players what exactly happen when bari sacrifice all her memories to save Helena and it's not from bari herself...kinda sad. But hey, it's depend on the developer themselves. I'm even give suggestion at their website...

Hmm, although this is just a small story in a small Gacha game, it turned out to be kind, touching and instructive, which surprised me. And this beautiful musical accompaniment created an atmosphere of calm and a little joy for me walking through these beautiful pixel flower beds, looking at characters.Cool music.Thank you man for share it.

This short story was honestly perfect. From the music to the story, I think it showcases Guardian Tales' strongest point. If I wanted to hook someone into the game, I would probably tell them to play this story first just because some people might not play until world 10, which is probably when most people will get immersed in the game.

This got recommended to me only now, which is a bit sad, since I stopped playing GT for, already, 4 months (by the time I'm writing this). The reason is also very stupid and could be totally avoided.
Sit down and grab some popcorns because this is gonna be a long comment.
I accidentally broke my last phone by making the screen fall flat on the floor. At first I didn't realize what this meant, then, 3 days later, I got my new phone, started checking it out, opened the new apps, checked my games, only to find out that a lot of them were completely reset and I wasn't able to recover my saved data for some unknown reason.
Unfortunately, Guardian Tales was one of these. Knowing this tore me apart since I started playing GT back when it was released in 2020, I had a 100% story file, still had to finish some side modes, but apparently all my effort is now lost between codes and inputs and I will never get it back.
To this day GT is the only game I didn't delete (even if I don't think I will play it anymore), because it' just too big of a memory to let go of this easily. This song helped me remember the pain of that discovery, while also reminding me that nothing is eternal; it would have been time to grow up and detach from this silly games anyways...
One positive thing I can say is that my save file at least has a happy ending storywise, since I completed Season 2 and what I saw (no spoilers) counts as a happy ending for me.
I don't know if I was just keeping all this speech inside myself for very long or if it just came in while writing this thanks to this song, all I can say is: fellow comment reader, if you haven't tried out Guardian Tales yet, give it a shot, it's got a very long and complex story, beautiful graphics, charming characters and a lot, lot of content; surely something you can't forget... (sorry my inner salesman kicked in)
But for me, it is now time to let go...

A Great story in a game is good, but bad gameplay can ruin it and vice versa. That's what I don't like with most rpg games, but guardians tales has both an epic story and gamely that makes you FEEL that you are in the story. Best example of this is level 10-5 where we have to move against the clock to save the refugees. It was very very hard, intense, emotional. It made me feel desperation, frustration, hope, and I used all my skill and experience on 2d rpg action since I played lots of games who have a similar combat system to GT. Play the level and you would understand
Not as sad as leaving the little princess heart broken :(
Excatly and this is why we needed to go back for her, even if it meant hurting future princess feelings.
We can either live in a time not meant for us or came back to where we belong and make a difference so that the future changes for the better

Future princess es exactamente la princesita que conocemos al inicio. Si regresamos al pasado, estaríamos creando una nueva línea de tiempo, es decir, otra princesa, siendo que abandonamos definitivamente a la princesa del inicio.
Lo mejor es aceptar la realidad, quedarse con la princesa futura, y enmendar el tiempo perdido.
