Like you I am an “escaped Catholic’ and we know what it is like to have been denied the “Word of God” The deception while growing up was massive. Yes, we know only to well what it is to be taught to bow down to “useless” idols and pray to dead “saints” etc. It makes our faith now all the more precious. But thanks for the reminder to prepare and make our minds up NOW before the challenge comes in an ungodly court. What word is used for falling in Daniel 3? A part of me hears that and wonders how many people voluntarily bowed vs how many fell as if “slain in the spirit”...
I just read Daniel chap 3. King N'vukhadnetzar of Babylon made a golden idol of himself and commanded to ALL under his rule "When you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, harp, etc. ALL are to fall down (BOW) and worship the gold statue that N'vukhadnetzar the king has set up" This was the command of the king of Babylon and "if any refused to bow down they would be thrown into a blazing hot furnace". It's my opinion that this event foreshadows what will take place during "The Great Tribulation" (as Pastor Bill is speaking of in this video) when the antichrist goes into "The Holy of Holies" of the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem & claim to be god demanding that ALL fall down (bow) to him, worship him as god, & receive his mark & those who refuse to do so will be beheaded. (Just to let you know I use the English Version of The Complete Jewish Bible (contains both O.T. & N.T.) translated by David H. Stern who is a Jewish man who believes The Gospel of Jesus Christ. He wrote this version translating from the Hebrew, Aaimaic, and Greek languages to give it's readers a purer translation into English). I do have a KJV but I love using David Sterns version. (I treasure it). It took me 3 yrs. to find a copy of his version in a book store. I know the internet would have been quicker BUT I do not purchase anything over the internet with so many hackers around the world stealing a persons private info on the world wide web.
