- This channel focuses on the attractions and animal welfare of great apes (Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Orangutan).
We praise zoos that are proactive about animal welfare and environmental enrichment,
and strongly criticize those that are passive about animal welfare and environmental enrichment,
and demand that animal welfare be implemented.
*Environmental enrichment is a measure to reduce
their mental and physical stress and have them live a happy life from the standpoint of an ape,
not from a human convenience or emotion.
Among them,
foraging enrichment (installing puzzle feeders and increasing the number of meals so that apes can lead a rich life) can be done at low cost.
Sakura needs Fubuki back. With Mil having a baby she seems more lonely. I don’t still understand why they have separated them for years considering how Sakura hasn’t been in estrus for a long time and also considering how Sakura and Fubuki were best friends before

サクラちゃんは今までのミル姉が、お腹に小さいチンプを抱えて大事にしているので、ちょっと寂しかったり、どうしたらいいか悩んでいるように見えました。でも、大事なものだと理解しているから、シジミの手や足を見て触っていいものか悩んでます。と、想像しました！つまらないからフテ寝のイブキも、しかたないなぁ。。とモモコのとこに帰ったのはエライ👏ほんと、人間なら「静かに勉強してろ」と子供部屋に入れられて怒られるのがせきのやまなのに。。
日頃トラブルメーカーのサクラが不憫です。この前は、イブキとディルでデッキー攻撃してました。デッキーもたまったものではないですが、これが若さの秘訣だし、それになにより見ていて面白かったです。😅

Who does Sakura groom? Since she came to this zoo I’ve never seen her groom any others.
Her best friend, Mil. I saw Sakura grooming Momoko the other day.

シジミが生まれてからミルが人気物になって、なかなかミルと毛づくろいできない状況なんですよね。サクラも赤ちゃん産めば変わるのかもしれません。それまで辛抱。トニ－元気で良かったです。ありがとうございます。🙏✨
