@John B, it’s not so much that it’s unknown but more so unpopular like you mentioned. You only really see these in pvp situations (hardly ever in wild), and it’s not really an easy weapon to use, even with the animation delay. Nowadays you see Ahkers using it. People who don’t know how to use it or pkers who are actually good with it.
Also some of those fights looked very fake
It's always been known, its just not that good when dragon knives exist.

Why not a pking through the years challenge? You start as best in slot 07 each kill takes you one year closer to current date.

Risk fights that start small like a dds/whip in monk robes and where you double the risk everytime you get a kill.

yo Swede you should do a video where you dress up as a green dragon bot and go to east dragons from ferox enclave, but have a skull so pkers will see you and follow you out there, then you should mage switch and tb and try and ko with tri-brid.

Try pking on rev caves, pvp world, and deep wildly. But you have to use Phoenix necklaces to camp them it helps save u from dying from any special attack weapons. But u get an opportunity to spec them. If u don't get it then look at odablock's video about Phoenix necklaces He'll explain why it's so broken.
