I like how you activate all the tasks at first as you scout the map. When I started Michigan, I avoided accepting them all because I thought it would get difficult to manage. Now I see it's good to do so you can better plan the tasks later on and don't have to go back to accept them.
Yes! I played the game 3y ago and I didn’t activate them either. It made me so mad that I would have to go and get the contract when I wanted to do it. I just came back to the game a few days ago and started a new. I really enjoy the game but didn’t play it very long the first time. I want to do a full achievement play through. The only downside to activating each task is it makes it really difficult to get the achievement to take no damage while doing a contract. Luckily I got that my first time.
Hey z, I have some tough love for you today. Y'know I really enjoy your channel and I almost didn't say anything but then figured you'd want honest feedback. So here goes: I found this video pretty hard to follow. In your Michigan scouting videos you showed all the driving, sped up. I imagine this was a ton of work and it did make the videos pretty long, but at the same time for a lost newbie it was really helpful to be able to watch (and sometimes re-watch) exactly how you got from Point A to Point B. Your new technique of clipping some of the footage to get to the decision points faster worked great for the Michigan logging videos, where all of us following along were already really comfortable with the zone, but for the scouting sessions, for me at least, it didn't work as well. Maybe I just need to re-watch or pay more attention. Hopefully others will come along and tell me I'm crazy and they followed along just fine. I think if you're going with the new technique of cutting some of the routine driving, if you popped open the map a little more often it might help, at least while we're getting the map revealed. (Once the map is revealed and we've been everywhere and you're doing contracts I think this new format would be 100% fine.) It was still an entertaining video and I still learned a lot about how different transmissions impact fuel economy, and I hadn't realized the game's physic model takes into account the weight of extra fuel on the roof (no wonder my Scout 800 keeps wanting to tip over). Still definitely got my Like, and I still really appreciate you making these vids, it just wasn't -quite- as newbie friendly as the Michigan scouting vids.
I do appreciate your feedback. Sometimes I forget that others might not know exactly where I'm at because I've had these maps memorized for such a long time. I want them to be newbie friendly so thank you for your perspective. I got so bogged down last season with the workload, and hardware limitations (my ssd is only 256Gb and these files end up being 70-90Gb per video) 😅 I have been looking for ways to keep them coming at a consistent rate with my limited resources and this process has helped tremendously, but at the same time if they aren't useful to the viewer it kind of defeats the purpose too. I will take this into consideration moving forward and try to be more detailed with my locations in the map. I appreciate your support, I will get this figured out eventually! 🙂
@@zorshix When you plotted out your route at one point, even though the map was still covered up, I thought "Damn, this guy REALLY knows these maps!!" :)
Well... I have looked at them many times I guess. Honestly I don't ever open the maps anymore when I'm playing alone but I'm trying to remember to do it for the videos so you all can see the routes I'm taking. Maybe that would be a good approach to the situation, marking out the routes before I drive them. At least then the video could be paused on the map scene and studied in more depth.
Also, I have to comment, on Twitch everyone calls me zor or Z so it was cool to see you start the first message with it! 🙂 I'm pretty sure you're the first to do it on UA-cam
Cant you just make a fuel addon for the truck and bring it over? I just restarted myself on new+ to make it hardcore, but i wanted it also with no recovery and i wanted to be able to sell trailers full price. Im enjoying it so far until i flip. Then gotta go bring another truck to flip it back. But its more enjoyable with the struggles. I also need to be more cautious on trails or im fucked lol
@@newfiefitz412 yep you can bring it over in fuel addon vehicles, I just have to go back and get it when the ones I have empty. Michigan + Alaska spare fuel adds up to more fuel than you have fuel carrier vehicles
@@theoriginalzinngok good thanks, because i was wondering that lol. The tuz 166 i have to say is my favorite. Its a bit tippy, but it works! I bought the game for christmas and im hooked. I almost got all the packs lol
I have no idea what way you went after you left the fuel station. I can’t find this road you turned on to or this task. You think you could tell what way you went?
Ok Thank you for telling me that you’re my favourite UA-camr and I’ve been playing snow runner and I’ve been like copying everything you do and it makes me so happy and like you’re just my favourite UA-camr
@cory1725 of course, if you don't have the DLC you should use the biggest mud tires you can on the Chevy. They're not quite as good in mud as the DLC tires, but they're still good. 👍
Hey 👋 thanks for asking. New Game+ just gives you options to customize the start of a new game. You can set things like starting rank, vehicle options, upgrades available from the start, time of day options etc. You can make the game easier or harder depending on your preferences. Just a side note, if you set refueling prices to default it will make you pay at the gas stations so if you don't want that you need to manually set it to free. 🙂 Great question!
May I ask are you watching on mobile? Sometimes mobile devices have an audio enhancement feature that changes the balance between the music and commentary. Hope this helps 🙂
@ToXicKush420 it's difficult to make the audio sound right on all devices with so many different ways to watch. I have noticed the same thing if I watch on mobile with the Dolby Atmos feature enabled it makes the audio balance different from the original mix. Appreciate you watching and reaching out. ✌️
@MONSTERJAMFAN86 it's definitely helpful on hard mode, and it's nice to have repairs in that area. Also the repair restocking zone is just up the road so you can refill it easily

Nice, day time only is a huge improvement. Thanks for redoing everything.
The purist in me wanted to do the videos with the day/night schedule but it was really hard to see in Michigan.
This is really helpfull for new players, keep on going
Awesome! I'm glad it is and I will definitely keep going! Thanks for the comment 🙂
If you don't have the JAT tyres you'd suggest using Mud Tyres in Alaska right?
Absolutely yes
5:38 I just finished Alaska and the amount of spare fuel I’m leaving in white valley for later use is quite ridiculous lol
For real there's soo much fuel 😅

After the fuel station I turned around and went back the way I just came with the other Chevy.
I can’t find the tire pack
It's in the content browser. Paid dlc

I don’t have the money for the DLC tire pack so do you think you could tell me a good tire for the Chevy starter truck out of the tires?
@cory1725 of course, if you don't have the DLC you should use the biggest mud tires you can on the Chevy. They're not quite as good in mud as the DLC tires, but they're still good. 👍
Ok
How did you get the mud tires?
They are from the JAT Tire Pack paid DLC, I believe it costs approximately $3 usd.
Thanks mate 👍🏾
You're welcome 🙂
Is it better to use mud than the chained one for Alaska?
@just_a_sushi yes they will perform much better
What exactly is new game+

16:36 I have over 1,300 hours in this game and I never knew there was a maintenance trailer back there.
Now you can add it to your arsenal of knowledge of resources on the maps. Gotta use those hidden trailers when you can 👍
@zorshix Will definitely come in handy on hard mode. I always get annoyed that there's no fuel in that area.

Please show where tasks are on the map. It's hard to follow.
I did start showing them as I had that same request from another. Appreciate your input 👍 thanks
